@benonwine Whenever I buy something big - a new sofa, a fridge etc - I tend to think “that’s probably the last one I’ll need…”

When people get in their 50s and 60s and up, do you start thinking about how many years you have left? I’m curious….

@SamanthaRedeemd Is veil a verb? Surely you just wear a veil? I used to wear a veil as a teenager in the sixties, when hats were still a thing - I thought it made me look glamorously mysterious and I fancied one of the altar boys….

How many women would you say veil in your mass? Ladies, do you veil? There's about 10 in my Sunday mass, 2 at Tuesday mass.

@titaaleaa This reminded me of something else, why are new watch images and posters always set to 10:10? Especially in India. Does anyone have the answer about this?

@KeruboSk There will be loads of people whose grandparents were Victorians. My grandfather was born in 1878. My mum was born when he was 41 - in 1919 - and she had me in 1950.

Just out of curiosity… who out there has actually talked to someone born in the 1800s during their lifetime?

@theotherbennetsister Tanya Reynolds is as terrific as Miss Bingley as she was as Mrs Elton - does she specialise in insufferable Austen characters?

Watched a YouTube channel called Lost UK, featuring "The Weirdest Places in the UK." The weirdest thing about it was the way in which it mispronounced virtually every placename it mentioned.

@ALucieSmith It was a very sweet programme - although I guess your chances of an audience with the pope are greatly enhanced if you have a tv crew with you.

@ovaleasteregg During the Falklands war, when my husband was in the RAF, we had to cancel our usual foreign holiday at short notice and go for a week in Weymouth as he couldn’t be more than two hours from home. One of my sons always says it was the best hol8day he ever had…

Just heard a mum say to another "we're going on holiday next week, not a proper holiday, just Weymouth in a caravan, I can't afford more" Isn't it sad that this has become not a holiday. When I was a kid you'd be thrilled at this! Plus her kids will probably love it so much

Sick of accusations that the Trans community make hyperbolic statements! During the last week my life has literally been like the day they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, over & over again. I wake up, I try to be authentic & join the Girl Guides & I’m literally assassinated & made to put my head in a guillotine. I’m now a prisoner in my own caravan, living hand to mouth, my Olympic dreams are shattered & I’m literally surviving on broken lightbulbs, puddle water & earth worms. This is Trans. 🏳️‍⚧️
