Libertarians really thought they could stroll into a movement forged through the golden escalator days, January 6, watching people get railroaded, nonstop indictments, assassination attempts on Trump, and even Charlie being murdered, and somehow convince us to ditch Trump because Tucker or Massie told us to.
You wildly misunderstood the people you were dealing with. This movement didn’t survive nearly a decade of political warfare just to get lectured by contrarians with podcasts and ego problems.
You thought MAGA was some shallow internet coalition that could be redirected with a few viral clips and “just asking questions” talking points. Turns out loyalty forged under pressure doesn’t fold because a few libertarians suddenly think they’re kingmakers.
