@CatholicDrip___ I have no doubt there are people in the Catholic Church who are born again. But I believe it's in spite of Catholic teaching, not because of it. I also am not apologizing for the rest of what I said. I stand by the rest of it.

@CatholicDrip___ You post the same arguments every day and your rudeness in Jesus' name doesn't change. Why should I?

@PaulCollopy3 @TheresaArueyin1 Of course, and equally serious is Jesus' warning that if we don't acknowledge him before the world he won't acknowledge us before the Father.

@RevDrBLee Revelation 2:27-29 says WE receive a rod of iron to rule with, just as HE was given one by His Father if we overcome. Please stop twisting scripture.

But on the other hand Paul never endorsed disrespecting other religions. Acts 17:22-23 So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. Paul says in Galatians if someone proclaims a different gospel let them be accursed. Do you know what that means in application? Paul doesn't say. Do you think it means we should own them on social media and bluntly tell them they're wrong, as if that ever persuaded anybody? We must be on guard against pride and arrogance. Ours are not the weapons of this world.

You are correct to note that most historians affirm both Peter and Paul were martyred in Rome. But that is very different from claiming that Peter served as the first monarchical bishop of Rome, governed a three-tier episcopal structure there, or exercised anything resembling the jurisdiction of a later pope. The evidence is that Peter was a prisoner in Rome and then was executed. Even prominent Roman Catholic historians acknowledge this distinction. For example, Fr Eamon Duffy writes that the evidence indicates there was no single bishop of Rome for nearly a century after the apostles. Likewise, the Jesuit ecclesiologist Francis A. Sullivan concluded that the Roman church was governed for decades by a college of presbyter-bishops rather than by one monarchical bishop. So yes, Peter probably died in Rome. What the historical evidence does not establish is that he was the first pope, the first bishop of Rome, or the founder of an unbroken monarchical succession. Those are later theological claims that have been read back into the first century; thus the claim is made by tradition in spite of contrary evidence.

Muslims are stalking and threatening Christians online who are seen as too successful at converting other Muslims to Christianity. My friend, Michael Jones is one of those Christians. His family is in serious danger from these Muslims and he needs to move to a different, safer house due to credible threats, real world stalking, and doxing. I believe there are some men who once stood strong because they were borrowing the spiritual backbones of MacArthur and Baucham. But now that John and Voddie are gone, those men are revealing they never had a spine of their own. May God grant us more men who will stand strong!
