@Punk4725 @Ledger Ledger has famously never kept your information secured they have data leaked for years now not storing buyers information securely if you use a ledger and you don't know about this known issue for years that is really shocking to me tbh

This is terrifying @Ledger. I just received a physical scam letter at my home address in Italy 🇮🇹 How the hell do scammers have access to the addresses of Ledger users? This goes way beyond phishing emails now. People’s safety is literally at risk.

@anonymous161686 @OrevaZSN Some might be, but most are not. People skills, industry knowledge, organisational skills, are usually very high in many of them. However, if they were reminded regularly of the work that happens around them to keep them in their seat, they might be better people.

Calling service industry workers “low skill workers” really pisses me off because they could absolutely do your desk job and sit in meetings all day, but I guarantee you would crash out if you had to serve people for 10+ hours with a smile on your face and barely any break.

@HeslinKim It was something I wish I knew before it happened, how common it was. It softens and opens the heart to understanding how much love their is in the world for babes, and the pain parents go through for their children. So much love for your wife as well 💚

Yes, after opening up about our situation it has made me even more aware how common this is. I think at least 15 people have mentioned similarly. When you know it’s this frequent it also helps soften the impact. My heart goes out to everyone though. We all have something going on. Life isn’t perfect.

I stepped away from the conference circuit in Q1 and early Q2 because my wife was pregnant with our second child, and I wanted to stay grounded and present at home. In mid-March, we lost our baby in the third trimester. The grief has been heavy. Building a startup rarely leaves space for extended grief or going off the radar. There’s constant pressure to keep moving. I’ve never been a believer at all in traditional “work-life balance.” To me, there’s success or there isn’t, and real success starts with ensuring my wife and family are cared for to the fullest extent possible. Everything else flows from that. Work then is every other remaining waking moment. As a co-founder of a 13-person startup, I feel the weight of responsibility daily. Twelve other people’s livelihoods depend on the momentum we maintain. I’m incredibly fortunate to have the team I do, they immediately told me to take all the time I needed. We spent a week in the hospital, and they held things down without hesitation. You build, you grow, you keep moving forward. Life is full of unexpected lessons. It reminds me of the old Buddhist parable of the farmer’s son: the horse runs away (bad?), comes back with more horses (good?), the son breaks his leg riding a new wild horse (bad?), and then can’t go to war (good?), and so on. We rarely know in the moment what something truly means. If you’ve made it this far in the post, please know this isn’t a request for condolences. This is simply life, its struggles, its beauty, and its demand that we keep going. We don’t forget. We honor and remember. And we continue because we still have the gift of another day. This post is for anyone who has quietly carried similar pain while still showing up for work, family, and responsibilities. These things often go unspoken. I had many people ask me why I’ve not been at recent large events, so this is why. This feels especially relevant to share on here too. When you’re arguing with someone online or attacking them over a differing viewpoint, remember: there’s a real person on the other side of the screen. Pause before you post. Think for a moment. Crypto Twitter (CT) could use more of that pause right now. Few people can hold two opposing views in their head at once anymore; learn a thing or two from my friend @Shenanigrahams. That’s what kind of discourse we need to move the industry forward. With that said, I’m stepping back into the conference circuit in the coming weeks as we head into the next quarter stretch before mainnet. First up: @proofoftalk in Paris, hosted in none other than the Louvre. Excited to reconnect, share what we’ve been building at @ZenithFdn, and move forward.
Proof of Talk@proofoftalk

Heslin Kim @HeslinKim, Co-Founder & CBO of @ZenithFdn, takes the Proof of Talk stage this June on the Canton Track. Zenith is building the EVM execution layer for Canton, letting Ethereum devs and institutions deploy on the same infra with privacy, compliance, and atomic settlement built in. They're a Super Validator on Canton with the maximum weight of 10. Alongside @jpmorgan, @HSBC, @Visa, and @The_DTCC. Heslin has spent 10+ years in digital assets and tokenized securities. At the Louvre he's talking cross-VM architecture, app composability, and bridging DeFi to institutional-grade onchain finance. June 2–3. Louvre Palace, Paris. @Web3Kristel A million percent YES! While I know we all love to pretent we are tax renegades, we aren't and using stables or crypto triggers tax obligations in most places. Why would I buy a coffee and create a tax event that I then have to pay additional tax on?

I'm begging founders to please build for people OUTSIDE of your bubble. Sending stables from one base wallet to another is free, sure. But what happens when I want to turn those stables into HARD CASH so I can use it? Who pays for my fees then? Will Base reimburse those fees? Will Jesse personally reimburse those fees? Get out of your SF/NY bubble and realize that people need fiat to live, stables are not default anywhere yet.

We're shutting down @ord_io and @ZapApp at the end of the month This really sucks because great people put a lot of hard work into these products, friends invested in me, our users believed in us, and I feel like I let everyone down In the end we ran out of money and don't see a path forward Despite that I'm still incredibly proud of everything that we did I'm proud that we organically built two respected crypto brands that never farmed anyone or launched a token I'm proud that we empowered over a million people to explore Ordinals inscriptions on Bitcoin I'm proud that we shipped an app that let anyone sign up and buy a Bitcoin memecoin in under 30 seconds (an experience that many considered impossible) For the past 3 years I've woken up every day excited to build in the Bitcoin ecosystem and feel blessed to have had that opportunity I never took a salary, have no regrets, and wouldn't trade the epic moments we had along the way for anything Thank you to my cofounder Zach, our team, our investors, and all of our users for being part of this journey with me 🧡
Ord.io@ord_io

Ord io is shutting down on June 1. Three years ago, we launched our idea for "an Ordinals explorer with upvotes". We had no idea what was about to happen. Since then, Ord io has grown into a platform used by over a million people to explore inscriptions on Bitcoin. It brought us so much joy to ship features like Satributes for discovering the rare sats behind inscriptions and Block Vision for monitoring real-time Runes minting activity. Even simple filters and sorting options took on a life of their own. "Sort by largest inscription" quickly turned into a leaderboard where inscribers competed to create the biggest "four megger". And even the things that annoyed us at the time are funny to look back on now, like when the Bitcoin Puppets community would "raid" other collections so hard that we had to remove the downvote feature. To help preserve some of the Bitcoin culture that happened on Ord io, we'll be uploading the full history of upvotes, replies, and public address profiles to GitHub. That way, if someone wants to build their own Ordinals explorer with this context in the future, they can. Thank you to every single artist, collector, dev, and degen who joined us for this ride 🧡

if a project hasnt tweeted in months and suddenly starts posting only about their token, the launch is already cooked ive watched this exact pattern play out from inside NEAR and it's a guarantee at this point ill walk you through my real experiences i spent 5 years at the near foundation working on gtm for projects launching in the ecosystem. one of the patterns that came up over and over was web2 teams transitioning into crypto without realizing they were walking into a different game theyd come in with real experience launching products and businesses, theyd have funding, theyd have technical chops and then they would hire a marketing agency that any web3 native person would have recognized as predatory within five seconds, because the founders had no signal for which agencies in this space actually build projects and which ones just farm token allocations the way a lot of these agencies work is they get paid in tokens at launch their entire model is structured around one event, so the marketing plan they build for the project is designed to maximize hype going into tge rather than to build something durable after it they pump it on launch day, they sit out the cliff, they dump when their tokens unlock, theyre gone the project is left with a community that never really formed and a founder who genuinely doesnt understand what just happened (the price chart always speaks for itself) so the founders come back to the foundation saying we didnt get enough marketing support, and from our seat wed been telling them for months the dormant twitter, the tweets that were only about the token, the agency that had wrecked half a dozen launches in the previous year none of it landed because they didnt have the experience to hear/understand it heres what you can actually do with this if youre trading these launches look at the projects twitter - if its been dead for months and is suddenly active and the only thing theyre posting about is the token, the community wasnt built theyre going to dump on whoever buys at tge check the team - if theyre web2 and they dont have a single crypto native person on their cap table or as an advisor, they got captured and nobody on their team has the context to spot it look at whats actually been built - if theres tokenomics and a launch date but no real discord activity, no developer community, no third party people building or commenting on what theyre making, theres nothing under the token if you can identify the marketing agency, check their track record if theyve been attached to 3+ launches in the last 18 months that went 50%+ down within 60 days of unlock, thats your answer most launches that hit three of these underperform hard, and some of them go to zero ive seen this play out enough times that i now check these before i let any friend put money into a launch im not personally familiar with

sorry bro, to get the job you have to: > apply through the careers page > dm the founder > dm the recruiter > repost & comment “interested” under the hiring post > rewrite your cv for the 47th time > record a 3 minute loom explaining why you’re a good fit > complete a take home task that's definitely unpaid > show 5 years of experience for an entry level role > know 14 tools, 6 of which the company does not use > have startup experience, agency experience and big company experience > be “hungry” > be “culture fit” > know someone already inside > survive 6 interview rounds > explain your biggest weakness without sounding weak > accept “competitive pay” with no actual number attached > wait 3 weeks for feedback > get ghosted and later, after all that, they’ll thank you for your time and say they went with someone whose experience “better matches the current direction of the team” did i miss any?

Web3 companies are the only ones hiring for AI-native roles right now and nobody's connecting the dots Most tech companies are cutting people who know how to use AI tools. Web3 orgs are hiring for exactly that skill set. The difference isn't the industry. It's that Web3 companies never had the structure everyone else is now restructuring away from. There was never a 40-person product org where one person managed roadmaps and six others wrote specs. There was never a layer of PMs coordinating between design and eng without shipping anything themselves. Web3 teams have been running 3-person squads doing full-stack work since 2020 because there was no capital to hire any other way. One person doing product, growth, and ops wasn't a vision. It was survival. Now AI makes that structure actually scalable. The tooling finally caught up to the constraint. Every Web3 job description I see asks for someone who can wear five hats and ship across the entire stack. That's not because Web3 is special. It's because that's what one person with AI leverage looks like when you stop pretending you need a coordination layer. Tech companies are laying off the people who fit the old structure and looking for people who fit the new one. Web3 companies are just hiring for the structure they've had the whole time. If you're trying to figure out where the market is going, look at who's hiring and what the scope of the role actually is. The companies adding headcount right now are the ones who never had to unwind a top-heavy org chart.
