So I watched "The Passion of the Christ" last night. And I am on my back deck tonight thinking. Think about this. In the movie, they have beaten him to near death and when they first take him to his cross, Jesus clings to it, and the thief chastised him for embracing his own cross. Mocking him for doing so. Then Christ gave all he had to carry that cross which weighed as much as him.. They beat him while he did. It came to the point that his physical body couldn't carry it any longer, so a man was ordered to carry it with him. Yet Christ still clung to the cross. Do you know why? Because he knew at the other end of that short journey was OUR freedom. Not his.... OURS..... with every single step, with every drop of blood, with every single tear, he knew he was one moment closer to being at the right hand of the Father and his mission complete to free us all. The man embraced the cross. Begged God to forgive the men nailing him to it. Begged God to forgive those that had beaten him with whips and canes and hammered a crown of thorns on his head. He embraced it all.... for US...... And now, when times get hard and life gets even slightly uncomfortable, we claim that "God isn't listening and won't take my burden" as if we even know what a real burden is... How many times would we cling to the proverbial cross for another and suffer as he did to free them from the pain? Would we ever do it at all? Maybe for our own child? Maybe? As you lay down tonight, pray a prayer of thanks. Not for the normal things. Not tonight. Tonight, pray a special prayer of thanks that he held on to that cross and carried it as far as his mortal body would allow... because that took more dedication than any of us could give for anyone. By the time you wake up in the morning, he will have risen, 2000 years ago. He will have beat death. 2000 years ago, all the sin you and I will ever commit was paid for because he clung to that cross like it was a lifeline.... not for him... But for you and me.

@Gerardo34337464 My brother, the point of the gospel is for us to be changed, not for us to change it. God most certainly loves you, and you most certainly have a purpose in the body of Christ. Put aside your own ideas and listen for what God wants you to do ❤️

I’m not sure how one normally prepares to be baptized. But I’m spending my day playing candy land with my three beautiful children, making up silly parody songs to make them laugh, listening to devotional music, and really just sitting in my life and witnessing how good God has already been to me. Tonight, I will officially become a member of the holy and apostolic Catholic Church. I will be baptized and confirmed. I will receive the Eucharist, and I will be a part of a body of people going back two thousand years who bear witness to God’s grace. I am already blessed beyond what I ever thought I would be. God is good.

Protestants: Do actual concert performances in their churches with as little reverence as possible to God, and do services that are anything but biblical. Catholics: Pope prostrates for Christ in reverence in St. Peter's Basillica. Only one is performative and unbiblical, and it's not Catholics.

@deborah_no30454 I feel really upset today, like I watched it happen to someone I love. I cant really articulate it, but I feel like Im grieving or something. It really effected me.

I watched it last night. Again. Since I last watched it, I have deep read my Catholic Bible, so last night, the film hit me very hard. I prayed deeper last night than I ever have before. Its like watching someone you know. I can't quite explain it.

DO NOT GO BACK God is saying to you today, "My child, do not go back to what I have already brought you out of. Reopening doors that once wounded you will only reopen pain I have worked to heal. What was toxic then has not suddenly become safe now. I closed those doors on purpose, to protect you, to preserve you, and to lead you into something better. Trust Me enough to leave the past where it belongs and not entertain what I have removed.

God is so good and so is the amazing medical team at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas! WHAT A BLESSING that we discovered my deep vein thrombosis before it could travel to my lungs or somewhere else and do some serious damage. The thrombectomy surgery this morning was quick and painless. I was asleep for it all. And I feel so much better already! The surgical assistants showed me what they extracted and it was SO MUCH! I had a totally occluded blood clot from my groin going all the way down to just below my calf! Ginormous!! Excited to go home tomorrow without any pain! I couldn’t even walk yesterday! I needed my walker to hop and limp around. Bed rest for today. And home in time for Easter. God’s plan! THANK YOU to everyone who sent prayers and positive vibes. It meant so much! | Perez Hilton nearly died recently. He was hospitalized for 21 days with severe sepsis, but he made it to the other side - a changed way. God saved him in many ways! This latest hospitalization for a blood clot was very unexpected but he was happy. God intervened and made sure this was taken care of ASAP.
