BREAKING: Iranian officials say Iran is fully prepared to seize the coastlines of the UAE and Bahrain if the UAE attempts to invade and seize Iranian-controlled islands in the Persian Gulf.
This is Iran's direct response to Trump administration officials telling the UAE to invade Iran and seize Lavan Island. "Go take 'em! It would be UAE boots on the ground instead of US," a former senior Trump security official told The Telegraph yesterday.

BREAKING: Japanese investors sold -$29.6 billion in US Treasuries, agency, and local authority debt in Q1 2026, the largest quarterly sale since Q2 2022.
This marks the first quarterly outflow since Q4 2024 and follows 11 quarters of purchases of the last 12.
Agency debt includes mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and bonds from government-sponsored entities, while local authority debt includes municipal bonds issued by US states, cities, and local governments.
This comes as rising interest rate expectations, driven by a rebound in inflation, weighed on bond prices and prompted Japanese investors to cut US bond holdings.
Japan is the largest foreign holder of US Treasuries, at $1.24 trillion, ahead of the UK, at $897 billion, and China, at $693 billion.
Japanese investors are aggressively dumping US bonds.

NEW: The Iranian regime is introducing a formalized toll system under the guise of maritime insurance policies and continuing to deploy incentives and threats to vessels in the Persian Gulf as part of their efforts to normalize and solidify Iranian control over the strait. This system appears designed to be more palatable than an outright “toll” by framing it as a “maritime insurance policy.” The insurance presumably insures the vessel against an Iranian attack.
Other Key Takeaways:
Iran is trying to circumvent the US naval blockade by expanding alternative overland and rail trade routes through the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Pakistan, and Iraq. These alternative trade routes are unlikely to replace the scale and efficiency of maritime trade through the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, however.
Israel and Lebanon have agreed to continue dialogue and extend the ceasefire but appear to remain at odds over key issues surrounding Hezbollah and its status. Israeli and Lebanese officials have long disagreed on the implementation mechanism, timing, and other political details related to Hezbollah’s disarmament and Israel’s military presence in southern Lebanon.

BREAKING: The U.S. is reportedly considering a revised nuclear proposal that would allow Iran to continue enriching uranium up to 3.67%, marking a potential shift from Washington’s earlier zero-enrichment position.
According to reports, the proposal could give Iran access to more than $25 billion in frozen funds while preserving parts of its enrichment program. Reports also claim Iran has rejected the offer and submitted a counterproposal.

🚨 CENTRAL BANKS ARE ABSOLUTELY LOSING CONTROL OF GLOBAL INFLATION
Inflation is now rising in 27 out of 29 major countries at the same time.
This is one of the broadest inflation surges the world has seen since the pandemic.
Oil above $100 because of the Iran war is making it even worse.
Every country that imports oil is now importing inflation through the Strait of Hormuz.
Central banks that already hiked are hiking again.
The ones that paused are reversing course. The Fed still has not moved while U.S. inflation is now at 3.8% and climbing again.
The last time central banks called inflation “temporary,” U.S. inflation eventually surged to 9%.

@JasenMykel @antireligionism @Skeemin13 the way i understand it is that although you’re right that the 14th amendment technically only protects you from government discrimination, we reference it in court cases where the CRA is violated. ultimately, it comes down to what you’re able to prove in court.
English

@theodorium_ @antireligionism @Skeemin13 people have successfully sued over discrimination many times. If you thought the 14th amendment protected, then the 1st should too. Courts have ruled that speech is protected outside of government many times. All Americans should be concerned when they discriminating for speech
English

@JasenMykel @antireligionism @Skeemin13 the civil rights act, in a practical sense, doesn’t protect you from discrimination because it’s hard to prove that someone kicked you out over your race. i think the CRA was an appropriate move, but it’s not really enforceable from logistics standpoint.
English

@theodorium_ @antireligionism @Skeemin13 From what I read, the 14th Amendment prevents government from discriminating while the Civil Rights Act prevents private organizations from discriminating. If you say the 14th Amendment protects, then why would the 1st not also?

@JasenMykel @antireligionism @Skeemin13 the 14th amendment. and, i hope you do realize amendments are still a part of the constitution. the first (amendment) states that the government cannot prosecute you for your speech. has nothing to do with private businesses. founding fathers believed in free enterprise.
English

@theodorium_ @antireligionism @Skeemin13 What makes it illegal? The Civil Rights Act, a federal law, which is inferior to the Constitution. Speech is supposed to be protected by the supreme law of the land 🤔
