@cozyghostyx My step mom has (had?) a similar pattern. She also had a pink rose(?) set at one point too.

Built this for my girl at work today. She’s wanted a bedside table and lamp for ages. She’s been away on a school trip so along with her reorganised bedroom she should be happy 😊

Taylor Frankie Paul unfollowed Mayci Neeley,.. I guess Mayci is supporting Mikayla Matthews over Taylor. #SLOMW

@ItsGwenActually Yeah I have 3 jobs plus my fiancé is the breadwinner in our house.

@theoregonnanny I once called up my manger like 8 hours early, explained I had a family thing come up. (I was casual legally I didn’t have to go) he called me 10 minutes later “sorry couldn’t replace you”.
So I I quit the next day. (I will say I had the luxury of a second fully time job)

@brucepoops It’s a 24 hour business. I already talked to the night person. She was very nice and said she would be happy to stay until someone could come in. I also received a text later saying someone was coming in to cover me.
English

the manager is right bc no one is gonna wake up at that time to cover your shift

Idk about you but I feel calling off work 2 hours before your 7am shift starts is totally reasonable. Why is my manager texting me that “This is very short notice.”

@theoregonnanny does your job have a minimum time to call out? at my old job it was 4 hours unless it was an emergency. if we called out 3 hours or less before the shift we would get a write up 🙃.

@_GUIT4 Not to mention there are other employees that call off at 15 minutes before there shift is supposed to start…some that call off AFTER their shift was starting. Why are they hassling the most reliable person on their staff?
English

@theoregonnanny You have to predict 48 hours ahead of time when you will get sick.
English

@OliveSquig Nothing has ever stated that. I think she was just stressed because she was out of town.
English

@theoregonnanny Whose job is it to replace you for that shift? Do you have to provide your own replacement?
English

@SavanaThePanda Our night person was there. I talked to her and she was fine running things / staying late until they could figure something out.
English

@theoregonnanny Because there is likely nobody but them to cover the shift and they want to go home. Not your fault by the way, they should have people on staff that don’t mind being on call in these moments, but that’s not how most managers operate.
English

@theoregonnanny Our instructions are to text our manager at least 2 hours before our shift starts but not before 6 a.m. I start at 8 a.m., so how am I supposed to meet both of those criteria??

@theoregonnanny It was insane! Like my alarm would go off at 5am so if I happened to go to bed fine but then wake up sick it’s just ¯\_(ツ)_/ oh well you can’t use your sick leave now
English

@bexorcistt Yeah I feel like I’ve worked places like that before. I think it makes sense for most shifts but early morning start times are hard since people are sleeping!
English

@theoregonnanny When I worked in a hospital we had to call at least 3hr before my shift started or I couldn’t use my sick leave. It’d just be an unpaid day.
My shift started at 6am 🙃
