NO, you don't need to rank first on Google to get cited by ChatGPT. ChatGPT doesn't follow Google's rankings. It pulls relevant pages and re-ranks them based on how well they answer the question. So a page 3 result can get cited before a page 1 (happens all the time). What LLM's prioritize: - Direct answers - Structured content (FAQs, tables, clear headings) - Authority signals - Fresh updated information Your Google position doesn't matter that much tbh We tested this. Took an e-commerce brand's blog strategy (103K visitors/mo, almost all from AI-written posts) and replicated it for a client: 1. Stole their title structures 2. Adapted with Claude 3. Imported 41 keywords into Arvow 4. 3 articles/day on autopilot One afternoon. Content publishing daily. So stop waiting to rank first. Start publishing content that answers questions better than anyone else. And the citations will come.

1,700 people tried my SaaS in the last 90 days and did NOT buy in other words, 1.7K people signed up for the free trial, actually used the product and did NOT convert this doesn't include the ones who signed up for the free trial and didn't use the product (you'd be surprised how many people sign up for stuff and just give up) I'm only referencing the ones who signed up AND actually tested it so with that, I'm removing our free trial the idea is that if people are curious enough to give us their email AND try out our product (1.7K people in the last 90 days), that curiosity will still be there if there's a paywall I expect unprecedented levels of wealth to be made will report back in about a week

A new client came to us with a brand new site - zero traffic, zero rankings... 2 weeks later, it has: - 58 organic visitors - 70 keywords ranked - $44 in traffic value - Already 1 citation from AI overviews Here's the exact workflow: 1. keyword research with claude code (gave it the website and asked for 20 BOFU keywords with high buying intent 2. imported them to arvow (claude gave me a ready to import spreadsheet with the kw's + titles) 3. set up the article template inside arvow so the content has automatic internal links, images, videos, etc 4. turned on arvow automation that generates the seo optimized content + publishes it directly to the client website That's it. Took me basically 1 afternoon to setup and it's now running fully on autopilot. Whole stack costs less than $100 a month 😂
