It would be very hard to overstate the negative impact that the cumulative badmouthing of teachers by state leadership has had on employee morale. Unlike anything in my 31 years. Especially the radio silence on HB2 following the passage of vouchers/ESAs. This is not a political statement, only a factual one.

School choice will NOT take away funding from Texas high school football. Period. Florida and Arizona have the largest school choice programs and among the best high school football programs in the country. Texas is also one of the only SEC states without school choice.
