FYI: Starting tomorrow (Monday, May 4th), live audio of the Elon Musk v. Sam Altman/OpenAI trial will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel for the US District Court for the Northern District of California. In my experience GPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek v4 are strongest in theoretical physics. This benchmark suggests the same. CritPt evaluates language models on solving unpublished, frontier-level physics problems that require genuine research-scale reasoning. Unpopular opinion: to reduce AI anthropomorphism, the law should require AI companies to give their AI models descriptive technical names. "Claude" is a human name and would NOT be acceptable. Anthropic has a serious anthropomorphism problem and should be held accountable.
