@MarioNawfal The regime in Iran just wants to make a “deal” to survive Trump’s presidency, until the Democrats are reelected at the next election When the Dems are back, the regime knows very well that enrichment and nuclear proliferation will be back on the table.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Negotiations with Iran come down to a single number: 15 The U.S. wants a 20-year enrichment freeze, Iran is offering 5. In that 15-year gap sits either a deal or a war. Iran already has 440 kg of uranium enriched to 60%, a level just steps from weapons-grade. It’s enough theoretically for more than 10 nuclear warheads, stored deep underground in places like Isfahan and Natanz. Natural uranium is 0.7% U-235, basically useless, but at 20% you can run a reactor, and at 90% can have a weapon capable of instantaneous genocide. A 5-year freeze means the current regime could rebuild its program relatively soon. A 20-year freeze means an entire generation of Iranian nuclear scientists cannot advance the program, and a new political reality might take hold. Could they meet at 10? Or 15? That remains to be seen, but it’s ultimately just a number on a piece of paper. Because neither Israel, nor the U.S., will let Iran become the next nuclear power… 5 years from now or 20 years, I doubt that changes.

@BabakTaghvaee1 There’s more than enough US military presence in the region - they have bases in Turkey and Iraq, just across the border. Israel will no longer tolerate the emergence of any Islamic terrorist militias that it sees as a threat, especially following the events of October 7.

BREAKING: It appears that the U.S. Army has ended its military presence in northeastern Syria, as the last convoy was spotted departing Qasrak base, bringing an end to its presence there since 2014. The withdrawal of U.S. troops is reportedly taking place at the request of Turkey, following the installation of an al-Qaeda-affiliated regime in Syria. The absence of U.S. Special Forces and Army units is likely to once again enable ISIS and other al-Qaeda-linked terrorist groups to expand their operations in the country. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar

@IranSpec The Sepah continues to run Iran -the same people running the country with an iron fist for the past 4 decades. They rule with impunity and no mercy. I’m surprised they’ve managed to prevent the country from fragmenting up until now. The next 6 months will be telling.

It’s the end of the Ayatollah era in Iran. And the beginning of the “shadow reformist government” era. Who runs Iran now? No one knows, is it Ghalibaf? Araghch? Mojtaba? The Generals? The IRGC? My guess is that “unknown” reformist technocrat politicians have taken over 65-70% of the government. The remaining 30-35% of the government is led by the IRGC hardliners, who are now scrambling like rats.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump's final deadline for Iran expires tonight, with all signs pointing to U.S.-Iran peace talks having stalled. The U.S. has struck Iran's Kharg Island. Again. Israel is striking bridges across the country, in line with Trump’s threats. And now Trump is posting: “A Whole Civilization Will Die Tonight.” Today could mark the most serious escalation in this war yet. Source: @KobeissiLetter

🚨 BREAKING: 🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran has cancelled all diplomatic and indirect communication channels with the U.S following Trump’s threat. Message exchanges have been suspended, and ongoing diplomatic efforts are now reportedly frozen. This comes right after Trump's threat a few minutes ago that "a whole civilization WILL DIE tonight, never to be brought back again" Trump's rhetoric is backfiring! Source: Reuters

@sentdefender Is he implying that the Islamic regime in Iran is a civilisation or is he referring to his own civilisation as we know it? Maybe the end of American restraint and reluctance. Surely he isn’t referring to the Persian civilisation. Very interesting choice of words.

@MarioNawfal A few things to unpack: 1. US has no bases in Iran 2. How do, not one, but 2 planes get “stuck”? 2. 3 replacement aircrafts for 2 sounds ludicrous and risky The whole story sounds like it’s out of Hollywood.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 A senior U.S. military official just called this one of the most complex special operations missions in American history The details that are emerging are extraordinary. Two transport planes got stuck at a remote base inside Iran after the WSO was recovered. Commanders flew in three replacement aircraft, extracted everyone, and destroyed both disabled planes on the ground to prevent them falling into Iranian hands. The F-15E went down in a region with significant opposition to the Iranian government. The WSO may have received help from local civilians willing to shelter an American pilot while their own government hunted him. The CIA reportedly facilitates exactly this kind of arrangement through a process called "unconventional assisted recovery," making contact with civilians willing to help vulnerable troops survive. So the full picture: a pilot ejected, climbed a mountain, was sheltered by locals who risked their lives, evaded for 48 hours while Iran offered bounties, survived a massive firefight at the recovery site, was extracted on aircraft that then got stuck, required three more planes to fly in, and the originals were blown up on exit. What a story. Source: NYT Media: @officialrnintel

@jacksonhinklle The regime in Iran has been at war with its own people for the last 47 years. The people who fought with their bare hands now have support. The US / Israel, by virtue of their war to maintain the petrodollar and hegemony, will finally free the Iranian people from their oppressors

Iranian diaspora who begged for war against the Islamic Republic are among the most soulless, retarded & rat-like human beings on the planet They watched Syria turn into an Al-Qaeda hell hole after the fall of Assad — yet still believed the U.S. would “free Iran” Now they are shocked at Trump’s plan to send Iran “back to the Stone Age?” I support immediately deporting every pro-war Iranian diaspora to the worst slums of India

Trump's number is wrong. The strategy behind it is genius. China doesn't get 90% of its oil from Hormuz. The real number is closer to 50-55%. For reference maybe he was thinking about Iran that's selling 90% of it's oil to China. But here's why the exaggeration doesn't matter. The strategic move is real Think about what Trump is actually doing If China has to guard Hormuz: → Chinese naval assets move to the Middle East → The Taiwan Strait gets less covered → Beijing has to choose between its oil supply and its Taiwan ambitions → China either lets Iran lose a key protector or gets pulled into the conflict It's a forced choice. Guard your oil or guard your future. You can't do both. Trump isn't giving Hormuz to China. He's handing Beijing a problem that drains its military focus, its diplomatic capital and its budget. And the 90% number? Doesn't need to be accurate. It just needs to make China feel responsible. Have a look at my latest article, where i explain the deeper strategy behind all of this🔗 Link 👇 themerchantsnews.substack.com/p/what-is-the-…
