It’s really amazing to see some responses on here surprised by my mental state… that mental state is why I’m in contention every poy race since 2017 no tourney is too big no tourney is too small treat it like pokemon gotta play em all But in all seriousness poker is a long term game you realize equity sometimes other times end up with 0% equity the next tourney or hand has nothing to do with it stop getting emotionally attached to anything while at the table that you cant control

@thisismyback So hes under a long term contract, so you keep him then and shut the stupid noise of selling him up and tell him he either stays and fights or he leaves on loan Simple

Fans saying we should just sell Bergvall not realising that this guy really does have a massive future We shouldn't be gutting our talented young players with such ease If we sell Bergvall now for £45m, watch how in 2 seasons, he will be linked with a £140m move away from Forest I dont get why we cant just loan him out and let him have a season under his belt playing 38 games of a Premier League season and then reassess next summer to see if we keep him or cash in

(🥇) Nottingham Forest view Lucas Bergvall as their Elliot Anderson replacement, with #thfc valuing the Swedish midfielder at around £45m. 💰 @JacobsBen via @LastWordOnSpurs

Why is Vuskovic not getting more heat from us fans. He’s a kid and demanding he starts, and when he didn’t get his way demanded to leave. Massive ego, badly advised. Hope he’s a huge flop at Brighton.

@billycostigansr @santoscb44 @charlieparrish We certainly did it in the aughts with players like Rose and Walker but other than Lesniak and Parrott, largely ignored the approach in the next decade. Likely because of the amount of talent our own academy produced. But we picked it back up in 2019 with Clarke and really ramped

Vušković situation one imo where you just appreciate everyone's perspective. From Spurs' POV, it's a shame, but there's not much they could do. They just have to get better immediately, and the player is insisting on starting now, so you have to grudgingly take the (big) £.

@billycostigansr @santoscb44 @charlieparrish I hear ya, but disagree, at least with the youth investments. Beginning with Devine, there was a clear strategy to acquire and develop young talent to ultimately flip. Strategic bets, some of which are beginning to pay off.

The type of reaction Luka Vuskovic should get next season from the #thfc fans. 19-year-old, who has never played a single competitive game for the Club. His team have been running their mouths for months trying to lure in a big team to take him. He never had a real interest in coming back to play for us. Bye. 👋

@santoscb44 @charlieparrish when we put the strategy in the context of daniel levy looking to grow his personal wealth instead of the football progression of the club it makes much more sense.

@Eric_Alves87 Think that will end up being market for him, unfortunately. That would still net us approx £30.2M in book profit.

€50M? That’s a good laugh. It would be better to just keep him and deal with the squad concerns instead of giving him away. That’s only £40M and he just signed a new deal.

🚨 | EXCLUSIVE : CRISTIAN ROMERO 🇦🇷 Understand Deco has held talks (again) with the agents of Cristian Romero in the last few days, he is a name for Barça! 🇦🇷🚨🔵🔴#FCB Hansi Flick likes Cristian Romero, and Deco believes an agreement can be reached with Spurs for around €50m package. Barça will push for a CB in august, and are talking to potential candidates. 🚨👀 Cristian Romero wants to leave Spurs, and has informed his decision to the board in the last months. He will look for a new club after the WC. Spurs want €60m fixed fee for him. ⚪️❌️#THFC Hansi Flick appreciates Romero for his leadership, profile, strong mentality and presence in defence. However, the scouting department does have some doubts. 👀🇦🇷 FC Barcelona also have other important names on the shortlist including Alessandro Bastoni, Lukeba, Van De Ven and more, but have a budget worth €50m-€55m package for a new CB. 🚨💰

@MrScogins @AlasdairGold are completed. Newcastle was his licensed sponser during his duration of employment there, now that he has transfered Tottenham becomes that sponser. We have to issue a new certificate of sponsership and his immigration record is updated to reflect his new employer.

I think I'm up to 22 Spurs players spotted in the return to pre-season testing at Hotspur Way. No Tonali featured which suggests his work permit has not been confirmed yet. Kudus and Kulusevski among the club's images. football.london/tottenham-hots…

My colleague said the other day, and it’s a brilliant idea “Last ten minutes coach”. How often in games do you see teams chasing a goal, and the last ten mins, all they resort to is either hoof ball into the box, set pieces or safe passive u-shape football not going anywhere. Basically not having any ideas. It’s a situation all teams face multiple times in a season yet it doesn’t seem any genuinely prepare for it. Whether it’s a separate coach, or you make sure it’s a dedicated focus, I really think there’s something in this idea to explore.

Can anyone educate me on whether any other Premier League/European clubs have employed specific ‘transition coaches’?

🚨 THE N17 WAR ROOM IS COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL 🚨 If you thought banking van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and the £100m Sandro Tonali blockade was the end of the script, Vinai Venkatesham just cleared the ledger to trigger absolute chaos in attack. Armed with the fresh £80m liquidity from recent sales, Spurs have shifted focus straight to the frontline—and the numbers are wild. The Blueprint 📄💸 We were told for literal years that the stadium debt meant we'd be shopping in the bargain bins forever. Now Roberto De Zerbi has casually sanctioned a £230m engine-room rebuild and told Vinai to immediately go and drop the hammer on Europe's elite. 1️⃣ ELI JUNIOR KROUPI: The bid is being finalised. Spurs are preparing an initial £75 million opening package to completely test Bournemouth’s resolve. PSG tried to lean on boyhood sentimentality, but Kroupi has held direct talks and given a definitive ‘yes’ to playing under De Zerbi. Sky Bet has caved, dropping him to a defensive 1/2. 2️⃣ SAVINHO: For the second summer running, the Brazilian winger has entirely locked down personal terms with Tottenham. He wants out of the Etihad, City are willing to execute a £60 million valuation, and it’s now purely a matter of fee negotiation before the signature registry clears. 3️⃣ RAFAEL LEÃO: The absolute joker in the pack. Rúben Amorim has officially omitted him from Milan's long-term blueprint, slashing his price tag to an achievable €60 million (£51.2m). Jorge Mendes has directly notified N17 that Leão is ‘willing to wait for Tottenham’ and will skip Champions League football just to be weaponised in De Zerbi's 1v1 isolated transition system. While other clubs are desperately penny-pinching to balance their books, Tottenham are casually drawing up a multi-million pound administrative monopoly. If you aren't completely terrified of what we're building in North London, you simply aren't paying attention. #THFC #COYS

@rupertmiller @pokeefe1 @CameronYardeJnr An interesting trend over the last two fiscal years is how many events we jam into June, creating a nice influx of revenue at EOY. The reality is, this money tree we planted in 2019 is finally providing a significant harvest.

@rupertmiller @pokeefe1 @CameronYardeJnr No, not necessarily. The club doesn’t report rev by event but Claude says we hosted 13 events during that fiscal year, so around £6M ea. 25/26 is 21 events, so we should see approx £126 in the next filing, assuming that avg is maintained.
