@hamen @dhh @narekk @digitalocean How do you handle server provisioning? deploying with Kamal feels like using fly.io for free but I am a bit worried that my server will end up being a wide open saloon 😱

Kamal 2 is getting close. Huge upgrade coming. Support for multiple apps on a single server, auto-provisioning of Let's Encrypt SSL certs, better secrets, faster deploys, aliases, and much more. This is the key to unlocking amazing deployment on any VPS / bare metal box.

PMs – I've said it before and I'll say it again: ✅ AI won't replace you ❌ PMs using AI will I'm building out PM use cases with instructions + killer prompts. Eventually I'll sell the full table for $50, but for the next 24h: FREE. Follow + RT + comment "🤖" for access.

The state of restful API clients for macOS: - Paw is acquired and ruined - Insomnia is 194MB to download - Postman takes 10+ seconds just to open the main screen, also the app is 418 MB Anyone got good alternatives?

@GergelyOrosz Plus Big Tech have spent millions if not billions into their offices, this would be quite a stretch to get rid of them and become « remote first »

A lot of people were asking why Big Tech did not commit to full remote. Well, this is why. They don't need to backpedal. It's always tempting to jump on the latest hype train that could help with recruitment, even if you don't really mean it. But it can hurt later, if you do it.

Very interesting. Just 11 months ago, Robinhood proudly announced they are a remote-first company. I am now hearing they are trying to get people into the office "organically". If you work there, would love to hear what is happening and how well this post you think will age.

@levelsio You'll find a lot of high-quality meat from Spain, they produce wagyu beef for example. As for Portugal, you should be able to find naturally fed pork and fresh fish

Impossible not to sound like a cliche here but anyone knows how to get wild/game deer meat in Portugal? Maybe order frozen from Spain? Want to eat a bit more game meat and bit less corn-fed steak (don't even try finding grass-fed steak in Portugal)

@epatt6 I’d stay away from opposing problems and solution spaces. I see it more like a loop, you need to understand the problem enough to start experimenting, then you get feedbacks and you’re iterating both on the problem and the solution

Indie builders build & ship products that bring value & then charge a small fee. They don’t just say “I’m indie builder” and ask for money!

I don’t like to post DM, but this is next level. The sad part for me was he used “I’m an indie builder” as the excuse.

PM - drummer The drummer sets the rhythm and pace for the song. PMs do the same by helping decide the size and types of features the team will ship. They can have a slow jam, with big features. Or they can have a fast hypemix, with tons of small experiments.

Fellow Bootstrappers and Indie Hackers - I've identified that building UI is what slows me down the most when working on my projects. So I'm going to (finally) buy Tailwind UI. Any objections?
