@highenergybeams @JLCPCB That is a bummer, hopefully a mistake in the form.
English

@highenergybeams Maybe go down to 1.2mm thickness... seems like they allow the black+gold combo for the economic PCBA
English

@helenleigh @steubens7 @amy_makes_stuff @pdp7 Yeah, @labitat_dk is open and you are very welcome. There is official open house every Tuesday evening, but if it doesn't fit your schedule, there are usually also people there the other days.
English

@steubens7 @amy_makes_stuff @pdp7 I'm not sure they're open right now (because pandemic) but Labitat is a great community-run hackerspace with a bomb shelter out the back. I hung out with the lovely hardware hacker @thomasflummer there a couple years back #blog" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">thomasflummer.com/#blog

@Patrick_RISCV @thomasflummer @hackaday @risc_v Looks interesting. Does it have documentation in english?
English

With a lot of help by @esmil, the schedule is now running on my @Hackaday #Remoticon.2 badge, with talk start times shifted to CET. It's powered by my @risc_v MicroMod #badgelife
English

@morgulbrut @deshipu @arturo182 @davedarko @labitat_dk People inside #rC3 world will join the jitsi when entering the electronics lab room (room 4), and that can also be accessed from outside: labitat.dk/wiki/RC3_2021
English

@thomasflummer @deshipu @arturo182 @davedarko @labitat_dk 20:00, day 3 at labitat then. Do you have some BBB or Jitsi that can be shared outside the world?
English

@tinyledmatrix @morgulbrut @deshipu @arturo182 @davedarko What about 20 CET on day 3? #badgelife #rC3
English

@morgulbrut @deshipu @thomasflummer @arturo182 @davedarko when? if tomorrow/day3 I probably would also join
English

@arturo182 Yeah, sorry about that... I was also a bit surprised about it, I must have messed it up when moving the pads from front of the PCB to the back, and sadly it's not a pin that can be ignored, so need a bit of soldermask scraping.
English

@arturo182 @hackaday This is the one I have used: aliexpress.com/item/327241140… (had some leftovers from the 2017 @BornhackBadge)
English

@PaigeKarlsen If you need them for machine production, keeping them in the tape is advised, but for prototype use, it's much more convenient in the box. The parts are pretty durable and should not encounter any damage when kept like this. These are just resistors.
English

@thomasflummer won´t they get damaged thrown all together like that/they´re already in the packaging, isn´t best to just keep it in the packaging til time of use?
English

@sad_electronics I have used dfrobot.com/product-1307.h… from @dfrobotcn for many years and have been very happy with it. I even made my own boards that fit on it for other pin configurations
English

@math_castello @oshpark @hackaday Yeah... sorry I have been a little quiet about that... I have been assembling some more, but doing it by hand takes a bit of some time.
English

PCBs are in from @oshpark in perfect purple for the @hackaday #Remoticon.2 #badgelife. Files and more details at hackaday.io/project/182027… if you want your own

English

@4constellation @hackaday @risc_v The badge is DIY and the @kicad_pcb files are available at hackaday.io/project/182027…, both this MicroMod variant, and the simple one with just through holes.
English

After a little soldering session today I got two badges ready for @hackaday #Remoticon.2 featuring my @risc_v #MicroMod. More details at hackaday.io/project/182027… #badgelife

English

@twigmouse @borisnimcevic @Tauss_srgl @hackaday @JLCPCB @randomwalks Isn't that the white silkscreen from the boards below?
English

Getting ready for @hackaday #remoticon. Just received PCBs from @JLCPCB designed by @thomasflummer and @randomwalks. If you are in Stockholm, Sweden and want one let me know. I'm happy to give them away.

English

@CrimsonVIII @kicad_pcb With the import to copy buffer, it's very close to direct import, with a few settings in the importer window. In regards to the registration marks, I make them the outer most things and put them on something like a 5mm grid for eazy snapping
