JUST IN - Trump orders the U.S. Navy to blockade the Strait of Hormuz to "any and all ships trying to enter, or leave." Also instructing the U.S. Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in international waters that has paid a toll to Iran: "No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas."

Trump won. Iran lost. The entire global energy market reshuffled itself to accommodate the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. And it just so happens that the world's biggest producer of oil and natural gas is the United States of America. Iran will never recover from this.

Everybody is already blaming the USA for the Strait of Hormuz being closed. Therefore, I propose that we mine the strait just for fun. It wouldn’t change anyone’s opinion of us, we don’t need the oil, Iran would immediately beg to open the strait, and it would be very funny.
