My thoughts about Mushoku tensei this will be a long one MT is above all a show about growth, development, second chance, living your life at the fullest, and about family The show has its bad moments and perverted stuff but overall I love the themes very much I loved season 2

Assuming pre-reincarnated Rudeus is teleported and have RBD while Subaru is one that is reincarnated as a baby that has Laplace's factor and "prophecy" surrounding his children, right? While Rudeus will definitely struggle more mentally with RBD and post effects of being killed he would definitely make better decisions that would have less risk of getting in situations where he might get killed. Now would he go so above and beyond to save EVERYONE? Hell no and you know what, that is understandable. Story changes will likely be drastic and he would try to distance himself from Royal Selection and stuff like that prioritizing peaceful life or peaceful as it gets in RZ world. Subaru is Six Sided World though? Since he loves magic he would definitely try it out but would he really work as hard as Rudeus did, that's something I doubt. Rudeus had his reason to not waste 2nd chance he got in life. Subaru might get as strong as Sylphie perhaps but that's it. I actually believe that he might get himself killed on Demon Continent if either Ruijerd stops paying attention to him while fighting monsters or he will piss off some adventurer and die dogs death in an alleyway. IF he does survive I don't imagine him getting with any of the main three girls and if he does it will likely only be Sylphie thus pretty much Hitogami winning against Orsted. That's at least how I see things. Neither story would work if they protagonist aren't Rudeus and Subaru respectfully, totally different people with different mindsets and priorities.
