@KnowBallEra @JackMac @AndrewBrandt Find me an example where the outcome is better than the projections used to sell the project. They just aren’t out there. Of the new stadium projects that could be argued as partial successes none of them are suburban NFL stadiums.

@JackMac @AndrewBrandt Right, that’s the projections to sell the project to the public. We see many reports that 5, 10, 15 years down the road the reality is nowhere close to the optimistic projections at the start

@JackMac @AndrewBrandt You’re a great internet researcher. Can you find a single study/report that shows a stadium deal actually pays the community what is promised to get the deal done? I just see report after report that stadiums don’t provide what is promised in terms of taxes and development

@AndrewBrandt Buffalo will profit off of this stadium in 2 years. If not quicker with the roof. No brainer business decision.

@AndrewBrandt The long term impact is clear, sports teams generate massive tax revenue for the state. The taxes from players/staff salaries over the cost of the lease will pay for itself back to the state.

@chadbjc2408 @BudElliott3 What does resume have to do with earning potential? Some of the richest people in America are college dropouts that were so talented it didn’t matter that they had a college degree. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Zuckerberg. None of them had a degree on their resume

@BudElliott3 Have you ever looked at a resume of a head coach?? The jobs they had before becoming a head coach? Oh and had to have a degree on top of that. Then look at a high school kid’s resume. You are a joke journalist

@SECcountry Why is it only a salary cap for players salary? We need a salary cap on coach salaries and on the number of support staff to really make things even and fair.

@Dodddad @DynastyPrice @DynastyNerds I think Nussmeier and Sorsby are very different prospects. 1) Size. Nussmeier is 6’1” 205, Sorsby is 6’3” 235 2) Athleticism. Nuss 70 atts -153 yards 5 TDs, Sorsby 320 atts 1295 yards 22 TDs 3) Decision making. Nuss 1032 atts 5% TD 2.4% INT, Sorsby 968 atts 6.2% TD 1.9% INT

IMO if he goes in the supplemental draft, each dynasty league should have their own supplemental draft. Any pick used would be what they are willing to give up in 2027. The current 1.01 gets 1st bid, all the way through 12. Then each team gets another shot with the 2nd round if no one claims him in the 1st. That continues till he is claimed. I suspect he goes late 1st rarely, but often in the early 2nd in superflex. 3rd-5th in 1QB
PeteNova@SuperrNova38

If Brendan Sorsby went to the supplemental NFL draft how would we handle him in dynasty? Rookie drafts have already concluded and FAAB has been spent. it might be unconventional but making untouchable and include him in your rookie draft next season feels like the best option.

Kyle Shanahan shares the team’s draft preparation: He doesn’t pick up tape til February & relies on the position coaches to make highlight tapes on each prospect so he can study it. “If I don’t like their highlight tape, I’m not going to watch anything after.” #49ers | #FTTB

@chinamaniac @FDSportsbook @bball_pardy What justifies Kobe and Curry ahead of Lebron? Lebron: 4 MVPs, 4 FMVPs, 1 Scoring Title, 4 titles as the main player Kobe: 1 MVP, 2 FMVPs, 2 Scoring Titles, 2 titles as the main player Curry: 2 MVPs, 1 FMVP, 2 Scoring Titles, 2-3 titles as main player depending on argument

@Qmilllyy We have like 20 seasons of Hard Knocks showing the quality of the team has nothing to do with a documentary being good or not. It’s the access and characters on the team

@JoeGoodberry Id say Freeling and Rutledge But what are we calling a “hit” for a 1st round guard that a team traded up to draft

@FFDynastyGrill Can we assume the Cardinals are rational actors given they just took a RB 3rd overall with their current roster needs? There’s a world where the Cards go like 5-12/6-11 and are picking 5th-7th both Arch and Dante are gone and they decide to run it back with Beck

I really struggle with Carson Beck in Round 2 of Rookie Drafts.. Does he have a genuine shot at some starting time this season? - Perhaps.. Are the Cardinals going to Draft a QB high in a star-studded Rookie QB Class in 2027? - ABSOLUTELY!

@paulsbballshow @somebodys0n @ESPNInsights Id disagree, MJ looked for his own shot 1st and involved teammates 2nd. He led the NBA in FGAs 7 times. 8 seasons with 5.5 apg or less. Meanwhile Lebron has 1 season leading the NBA in FGAs. Lebron’s lowest apg for a season is 5.9. MJ scored first, Lebron prioritized others

🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹 🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹 One more for history 👀 Up 3-0 on the Houston Rockets, a Game 4 win would mark the 13th sweep of LeBron’s career. That would tie Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most all-time.

@paulsbballshow @somebodys0n @ESPNInsights Again, Im not a MJ hater at all. The difference in them is just what your preference is. Do you want the better scorer who has a higher peak but less longevity or do you want the better all-around player who gives more longevity

@paulsbballshow @somebodys0n @ESPNInsights That’s what makes the discussion fun. MJ’s peak was no doubt higher than Lebron’s. But the longevity of greatness of Lebron is better than MJ. The NBA was such a different era with MJ. He had to go through lesser teams but also had less help than Lebron.
