Thought experiment: Hamas started this war on October 7, 2023 with the deliberate massacre of 1,200 Israelis and foreigners — mostly civilians — raping women, burning families alive, and taking 251 hostages. They filmed themselves doing it and celebrated it. If you said ‘I support Hamas’s October 7 massacre’ or ‘I want to do to Israel what Hamas tried on Oct 7,’ you’d rightly face career consequences — because that’s endorsing genocidal terrorism. Supporting Israel’s right to dismantle the terrorist group that vows to repeat it isn’t ‘lives don’t matter.’ It’s basic morality: one side targets civilians as policy, the other targets the terrorists who hide behind their own civilians. The war continues because Hamas refuses to surrender or release the remaining hostages. Context isn’t optional
