One lesson I’ve learned in investing: true multibaggers usually appear before the market believes they’re possible.. A 10X on a $200B MC company means creating $2T of value. A 10x on a $4–15B MC company requires only tens of billions. That’s a completely different math game. That’s why the asymmetric setups mattered. I bought $PLTR around $7 (~$15B MC) and $SOFI around $4 (~$4B). At those levels the downside was limited but the upside if execution worked was enormous. Yes, sub-$500M MC companies can be speculative. But once a company passes the “proof stage” real revenue growth, product-market fit, clear demand, the risk profile changes dramatically. That’s the sweet spot. Not tiny startups. Not trillion-dollar giants. But companies where the business is proven while the valuation still isn’t.
