@funder DEI is racism, its hiring based on racist practices which discriminate against anyone who is white/straight/men. its been proven and i am glad its gone. sick of seeing people of no talent being in positions they do not deserve.

A federal judge just ruled that videos of DOGE staffers must stay up — and they are devastating. Under oath, they couldn't define DEI. They admitted they never reduced the deficit. And they wiped out $100 million in humanities grants — including a Holocaust documentary — using ChatGPT. The regime tried to bury this. It didn't work. dworkinsubstack.com/p/shut-it-down…

When you consider everything they did to silence Riley, you realize why so many women & girls still fear speaking up. It also deepens your respect for those that bravely do it anyway, regardless of the price. And there’s always price.

Donald Trump, at almost 80, is going to die sooner than we think. Bookmark this. When Trump passes, there will be an absolute ORGY of grotesque delight on the Left and even among moderates. They will celebrate in the streets and hold parties. It will be a macabre display, such as we've never seen yet. It will make their celebration of Charlie Kirk's murder look like your great aunt Mildred's church tea party. Mark my words.

I’m sad now January 6th. People were jailed. Fired from their jobs. Lost friends. Waited hours in line for rallies. Campaigned. Bought hats and flags. Defended him. Stayed glued to the screen cheering him on. An entire decade. All for nothing.

no one wants to hear this, but the best way to address the dual problems of high ticket prices and overcrowding at ski resorts would just be to make it easier to open up new ski resorts across America

The Afroman story seems like one of those where everyone laughs and high fives Afroman and then in two years the Netflix documentary comes out and it's like, Oh, that's why they sued him.

Like many of my fellow conservatives, I am incredibly disappointed in President Trump and his administration. What this disappointing war has shown me is that it does not matter if you vote Democrat or Republican. The war machine gets what the war machine wants. I fear that the years ahead will be hard for Americans. I once hoped President Trump would help turn things around, but I now see that no one is coming to save us. When I pray, God reminds me that we should never have put our trust in men. Our trust needs to be in God alone because men will always fail us. As I reflected on this with a friend recently, we devised a simple plan to get through the next few years together. For me, I want to be good no matter what happens in politics. I do not want to just survive like I have since 2020, waiting for things to get better. I want to thrive even in the midst of the crazy. The plan is to do life together, get ourselves into a better situation, and slide into retirement. First, get your financial house in order. We need to do whatever it takes to reach a place where no matter if the economy crashes we will still be financially secure. This means sacrificing today for security and freedom tomorrow. For us, number one is to get ourselves out of debt. Second, in order to do this we are going to live like we are poor. I think back to times when I was happiest in my life, when I was not really that financially set. As an adult I have taken on more responsibility and gained more things, yet I am not any happier. Do not get me wrong, I live a very happy life, but it almost feels like I have been placed on hold, waiting out inflation and the down economy so I can pay off the debt I acquired in 2022 after a failed business. I am going to live like I did in high school or college when I was poor and did not really care because I knew I was working toward a goal and would be set in the future. Third, be with your tribe. Be with your people, the ones who make you happy, who love you, who will come hang out with you on your couch. Remember back to college and high school when it did not really matter that you did not have extra money because you were with the people you loved, watching movies at your friends house, sitting on their couch, chatting, eating dinner made at home. Those were some of the best times of your life because you were with your tribe. Too much of our days are spent with people who do not care about us, trying to impress people who do not care. I am done with that. I only want to be with my people. Being with them will pull you through. When you live like you are poor you will not feel poor; you will feel rich because when you are with people who get you and love you, life is wonderful. Fourth, build a life that you want now. Do not wait for the economy to get better. Do not wait for retirement. Build the life you want now. None of us is promised tomorrow, and with the way things are going who even knows what tomorrow will bring. For me I am going to pay off my debt, live like I am poor, be with my people, and slide myself into retirement early because retirement is not guaranteed. Lastly and most importantly we need to put on the armor of God. Gone are the days when you are too busy to read your Bible. I need to make time to read my Bible. The Bible is the one true thing in the world of fake. It tells us we are not to be of this world for a reason. It tells us we should not put our faith in men. It tells us about these biblical areas in which wars are going on today. Most importantly, God is in control and he wins in the end, so there is no sense in wasting our time holding out for things to change or for a president or politician to make better decisions. We need to put our faith in God, pray for our families and our country, and get ready for what is to come. The next few years are going to be bumpy, and the only way we are going to get through is to have our armor of God on to keep us strong and focused.

The state of Texas will not observe the Cesar Chavez Day holiday. I am directing all Texas state agency heads to comply. In the upcoming legislative session, I will work with Texas lawmakers to remove Cesar Chavez Day from state law altogether. Reports of the horrific and widely acknowledged sexual assault allegations against Cesar Chavez rightfully dismantle the myth of this progressive hero and undermine the narrative that elevated Chavez as a figure worthy of official state celebration.

Great men of history had little to no introspection. The personality that builds empires is not the same personality that sits around quietly questioning itself. @pmarca and I discuss what we both noticed but no one talks about: David: You don't have any levels of introspection? Marc: Yes, zero. As little as possible. David: Why? Marc: Move forward. Go! I found people who dwell in the past get stuck in the past. It's a real problem and it's a problem at work and it's a problem at home. David: So I've read 400 biographies of history’s greatest entrepreneurs and someone asked me what the most surprising thing I’ve learned from this was [and I answered] they have little or zero introspection. Sam Walton didn't wake up thinking about his internal self. He just woke up and was like: I like building Walmart. I'm going to keep building Walmart. I'm going to make more Walmarts. And he just kept doing it over and over again. Marc: If you go back 400 years ago it never would've occurred to anybody to be introspective. All of the modern conceptions around introspection and therapy, and all the things that kind of result from that are, a kind of a manufacture of the 1910s, 1920s. Great men of history didn't sit around doing this stuff. The individual runs and does all these things and builds things and builds empires and builds companies and builds technology. And then this kind of this kind of guilt based whammy kind of showed up from Europe. A lot of it from Vienna in 1910, 1920s, Freud and all that entire movement. And kind of turned all that inward and basically said, okay, now we need to basically second guess the individual. We need to criticize the individual. The individual needs to self criticize. The individual needs to feel guilt, needs to look backwards, needs to dwell in the past. It never resonated with me.
