I don't know why we should care an American congress-person getting intercepted in a foreign land should be of any concern. Whats more amazing is his level of conceit didn't cost him his life. Pretty sure there are places withing 500 miles where the state department would be trying to cover this up. We are not the world government. His privilege ends at the border.

Ro and I visited the destroyed village of Zanuta and the site of an EU-funded school that got burned down by settlers.
It was here that we got intercepted and captured by settlers wielding American-made rifles. The IDF showed up to back up the settlers, not the U.S. congressman.

BREAKING: The IRGC says it attacked a commercial vessel and has declared the Strait of Hormuz CLOSED until further notice.
This comes after U.S. officials told reporters they expected Iran to publicly announce the strait would remain open and guarantee safe passage for commercial shipping today, comments that were uncritically reported as fact by much of the press. Instead, the opposite happened.

Under California SB 143 (2023), goat herders have to be paid ~ $17,000 per month effective July 1. That's because they are now entitled to minimum wage 24/7 plus applicable overtime.
Unless this is fixed, goats which protect us from wildfire by consuming grass in danger zones will be slaughtered because it will too costly to keep them.
Just another instance of sloppy, union-driven legislation in California!

The Trump DOJ has dropped an investigation into a company whose contaminated baby formula may have led babies to die.
The Justice Department spent years investigating Abbott Laboratories over how it managed a baby formula facility where potentially deadly bacteria was discovered and suspected of causing infant deaths.
Some prosecutors believed they had evidence to criminally charge the company, but top decision makers instead closed the probe.

In 1939 the communists and the fascists put aside their differences from the Spanish Civil War and teamed up to invade Poland.
