What’s #inmyglass ? 👀 Bright ruby-garnet with a luminous core, showing subtle brick reflections at the rim. The color remains vibrant and transparent, indicating a wine at a beautifully evolved yet still lively stage. 👃The nose opens with layered intensity, revealing blackcurrant and black cherry, followed by notes of cracked black pepper, and violet. With aeration, the wine evolves toward more complex tertiary aromas of leather, forest floor, and subtle hints of cocoa and roasted coffee, all beautifully integrated. 👄 On the palate, the wine shows a beautiful balance between generous fruit, vibrant acidity, and seamlessly integrated tannins, resulting in remarkable harmony and a structure of great finesse. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent, marked by lingering notes of pepper, violet, and subtle smoky minerality. Today, #inmyglass and in my thoughts, I pay tribute to Michel Rolland, one of the most influential oenologists of our time. His vision, precision, and global impact have shaped modern winemaking across continents. A true architect of style, he leaves behind a lasting imprint on generations of wines and winemakers. Rest in peace. instagram.com/p/DWJy1H1ERTL/…

What’s #inmyglass ? 👀 It shows a deep, rich ruby color that still looks youthful, with only a slight garnet tone at the edge. It’s bright and clear, with slow, thick legs that suggest concentration and the warmth of the vintage😉 Even visually, it feels serious and structured. 👃 Expressive and elegant rather than heavy. Ripe black cherry and red plum lead the way, followed by fresh wild berries and a touch of cassis. With air, the wine becomes more complex and savory, revealing dried rose petals, tobacco leaf, cedar and sweet spices. There’s a beautiful earthy side as well, with hints of leather, forest floor and crushed stone that clearly speak of the land it comes from. Everything feels integrated and refined, just layered and harmonious. 👄 Dry and full-bodied, supported by vibrant acidity that keeps it lively and fresh. The tannins are firm but very fine and polished, giving grip without harshness. Flavors of sour cherry, red currant and dark cherry blend with notes of tobacco, herbs, espresso and a subtle mineral edge. Despite its power and depth, the wine never feels heavy; it stays energetic and balanced. The finish is long and persistent, leaving impressions of cherry, spice and a savory, stony character that invites another sip. #inmyglass #redwine #stillwine #winechallenge #winenose #wineguess #mysterywine #winegame #whatsinmyglass #sommeliersecrets #winearoma #guessmywine #winelover #winevibes #winenight #tastingnotes #winecommunity instagram.com/p/DT02nA3EXs8/…
