I usually see many projects based on the RP2040, but are they used in final products? Or are they just microcontrollers for hobbyists?

Still need to pinch myself sometimes: We’ve raised $4.600.000 pre-seed with Schematik. It's time to make hardware less hard :)

Getting data out of remote environments is the real problem. Sensors work, but once you leave reliable connectivity the data never makes it out. That’s what OWL is built for. We don’t replace your hardware, we integrate with the sensors and systems you already use and handle the network in between. No rebuilding your stack, just a reliable path for your data to move.

My Custom Duck Charger is coming alive! The board shape is not ideal but it fits nicely in its custom charger.

This resonates. We applied to YC seriously 4 times. Passed every time. In the meantime, we built a pre-product on the idea, tested and deployed it on real infrastructure: – live monitoring ~560M litres/day – serving ~1.5M+ people – helped a state cut water-treatment chemicals by ~48% – now seeing regular 6-figure orders(USD) This also lets you earn truth from the field instead of validation from a committee in @ycombinator
arian ghashghai@arian_ghashghai

2 things are true at the same time: 1) YC *may* list substantive reasons for passing that should be considered in pivoting the business 2) If a rejection from YC is enough to fully give up on a problem area, you were doing the wrong thing anyway/doing it for the wrong reasons

We’ve been iterating on a new type of developer electronics module designed for real-world edge deployments with embedded mesh networking that can function in heat, cold, intermittent power, imperfect RF, etc. We call this new device a QuackerBoard. To my devs/nerds/hackers we're looking for people to test out OWL IoT, and Owl's Early Access is open: owlintegrations.com/early-access If you sign up, we'll send you some toys to play with.

The world keeps getting more connected. More devices. More networks. More layers of infrastructure on top of each other. And still, the places that matter most are often the hardest to reach. That’s why we exist. At OWL, we focus on connectivity where it’s not optional. Where there’s no stable power. No reliable internet. No room for failure. Places where networks need to work before anything else can. This video is a small glimpse into that mission. Not just building more IoT, but building infrastructure that’s designed for reality. For the field, not the lab. For the moments when things break, not when everything is perfect. Connectivity doesn’t need to be everywhere equally. It needs to be where it matters most.
OWL@OWLIntegrations

Connectivity is about to explode. But the hard part is what happens when the network disappears. Owl is built for remote, off grid, high stakes environments where you still need your systems talking. If that is your world, our Early Access program is open. Join the builders shaping the next release: owlintegrations.com/early-access Never Blink.

No better feeling than having a fully cleaned, spotless, dust free working space, the little factory has been thoroughly cleaned and will be dirty once more by the end of day ! Onwards and upwards

Most IoT demos work. Most IoT deployments fail. Not because of the device. But because of everything in between. I wrote this after years of building OWL and shipping real networks. medium.com/project-owl/th…

These are our Ducks 🦆 Small, rugged devices that auto-form a long-range mesh as you deploy them. They collect sensor data, relay tiny packets, and stream everything to the DMS in real time. Check out OWL IoT owlintegrations.com/early-access
