@xdamnitDK Yeah, I think consoles were at one point the number one priority for steaming app development back when they were the first and only internet connected device at your TV, but the ubiquity of smart TVs has de-prioritized them.

@timrbrady @zollotech Yep! Tried it on two different ones (M1 Pro running Sonoma and the other M2 running Sequoia). I saw someone else post about the same issue. Regardless, going to return it because I don’t like typing angle and I’m just too used to my MX Mini. If it gets an update I’ll try again!

I wonder how all the Magic Mouse bottom charge port outrage people feel about the power button for the Mac mini being on the bottom

@jeffjesaja @sdw This sounds super anecdotal to you. I’ve had several Macs over the last nearly two decades and several different non-Apple displays. I’ve literally never had any problems putting my Mac to sleep.

@sdw Apple at its worst. Sleep mode doesn't work properly with most non-Apple monitor (or mouse or keyboard). So I have to turn the Mac off or else my screen wakes up frequently. It's 100% Apple style to double down on this stuff, forcing you to go 100% Apple.

@ByteReview Of course not, why would you need to upgrade at this point, though? Your oldest machine is like three years old. That's like...less than half the life I expect out of any higher end Mac. I've got an M1 Pro and I expect it to last me until the M7 or M8 Pro.

I'm still running the M1 Pro MacBook Pro and M1 Max Mac Studio and both haven't skipped a beat since I bought them Apple made these too good I swear, the M4 stuff is going to have to be amazing for me to upgrade
