@Hybridathlete It absolutely makes things easier. But the counterpoint is how much harder things were before starting. I finally started this fall and suddenly understood that life felt like running with a boat anchor dragging behind for many years.

Guys, you are not “normie” if you’re taking testosterone, regardless of age.
This is an awesome transformation and no doubt took a lot of hard work.
But I don’t understand why so many TRT/PED users insist on downplaying how much easier it makes things.
And I’m not against TRT/PEDs for those that want to use them, but it just seems like once people get on them, they just completely forget how much harder it was to build muscle, stay lean, and recover without them.
It’s like some psychological shift or some ego protection mechanism that doesn’t allow them to acknowledge how helpful PEDs can be.

And yet, here’s me going from 48 to 51.75 yo with some hard work while raising 2 kids and 2 businesses. 9.7% Dexa, 195lbs, 5’11”. Comfortably stable now for 6 months with 4x in the gym a week. Didn’t start Test until I was 18mo in and 50lbs of 100lbs down and that was only because of my biomarkers being so off for my age. Did not start using it for growth reasons, that’s a side benefit. No anabolics. (Note: I’m still normie with Test as that’s open to everyone my age) I’ve proven that this is achievable by any normie if they really want it.

D is the right answer: Not only does it include Butter chicken, Pad Thai, Dim Sum, Pho, Ramen noodles, and Korean BBQ, it also includes Kebab, Baclava, Shawarma and Falafel… AND… if you zoom in, a little bit of Sicilian pasta, pizza, Greek salad and Moussaka. Seal the deal with a nice New Zealand rack of lamb, a glass of Shiraz and Pavlova for dessert.

@sam_gzstrength My ulcerative colitis has been bothering me this week. Massive explosive diarrhea immediately before my top squat set today. Little bit anxious. Came out and buried 405x3, a weight I haven't touched in 2 years. Just fucking do it.

Your attitude about a particular squat or deadlift set can easily make or break it
The virgin "I'm tired, I feel something in my back, I'm not sure I'm gunna get it" = fail and give up after 1 rep

The chad "I may not feel 100% but I'm going to focus attack this set anyway" = grinds the 5 reps

@Hybridathlete You lose roughly 700-800ml of water during the night. Replenishing that first thing in the morning does make sense. Most people probably wouldn't want to have that much coffee early in the morning, I'd presume.

Many of you don't seem to be aware that black coffee is 99% water.
So having a glass of water before you drink coffee in the morning is not the health hack you think it is.

@sam_gzstrength The best is when you get a wave of full body aches from hard training and then it's your job to eat and sleep your way back to feeling good. It's euphoric waking up the next day feeling great, knowing you shoveled food into your pie hole to make it happen.
