Imagine being asked by family members of a deceased person not to attend a funeral and going anyway. Now, imagine being friends of the dead person's killer, and the family of the victim asks you to not attend the funeral and you go anyway. And imagine being sympathetic, even friendly, to people who claim the victims' country is to blame for their own murder and they kinda had it coming, then being asked by 16,000 members of the victims' families to NOT attend the funeral, and you show up anyway.
