@Upper_Beck Sprint speed isnt that big of a deal with how smooth he runs the bases. His angles to the base may be the best in the league which is why he can take extra bases without being the fastest player. Him getting to third to score on that was huge.

Contreras is well known for crowding the inside of the plate to intimidate pitchers from pitching inside. If he played in the Ryan or Clemens era who would have been hit even more.
