Did not expect this to blow up. I don't hate IPv6. I use dual stack at the studio, there are many reasons IPv6 is inevitable.
But at my home, I just want things working, and this was an easy way to fix so many dumb networking bugs.
(And yes, IPv8 is a joke. IPv16 is better!)

Today I disabled IPv6 on my home router entirely. There are (sadly) too many devices and services with obscure bugs when it's enabled, and I'm tired of playing whack-a-mole sysadmin just to keep a full IPv6 stack. I'm not sure we'll ever see full IPv6 adoption.
