@MorriseyWV @MorriseyWV we need to address the childcare Crisis in West Virginia. Direct funding for Child care Center’s. We need boundaries on the Hope scholarship, we need to invest in our public schools, building success in West Virginia starts with the education of our children.

With other state competitors seeking to dramatically lower state income taxes, West Virginia must continue the momentum and cut income taxes this session. Former Governor Justice also supports this! We’ve run the numbers and know this will help our citizens a lot — it’s the most direct way to address the affordability concerns that people have!

As West Virginia enjoys another surplus, some politicians are “debating” whether to cut the state income tax. This should not be a debate. I’ve made the tough choices to be fiscally responsible— now it’s time to help everyday West Virginians. A broad based cut in income taxes that applies to everyone is far better than the massive special interest spending which picks winners and losers and doesn’t help as many people financially. Let’s pass a 10 percent income tax now— we did the hard work to put half of those savings into the budget and will work closely with legislators to finish the job! We can do this!! No more delays!! Glad to say that our former Governor Jim Justice also wants more income tax cuts! Thank you, Senator!
