I expect they’ll revamp the bullpen, could even see a major deal for a closer since Bednar is a free agent this year, but agree that I’d be surprised if they added a major bat. Maybe a RHH C or a RHH 4th OF but I can’t see an everyday bat being added.

@realboshek Lombard has progressed every year exactly the same. Struggles first time at each level, then when stsrts.there the next season, he produces much better. Then, after a kid season promotion, struggles again. Then the following year he considerably improves. 3 years running now.

Elmer making his debut is great. It’s not great that a bullpen spot is going to Blackburn when Cruz can take that spot. They don’t need two long men if they’re both getting skipped for a prospect. They can potentially make the pen better.
