BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death. Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas. At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty." Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed. "Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month. Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.

@HornSports I agree. They have hurt us in some big spots, but if they can get going, in addition to Borba, it could be really good!

@GoyWond3r @HornsNewsIG I think it’s already kicked in for some of our pitchers. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink situation. At some point players gotta buy in and get some grit about them. Most of our starters and some of our bullpen guys have done very well under him.

@NoFeelOnlyFacts @OccupyLF You’re probably right. I am definitely over critical but I feel any higher level high school or college pitcher should be able to throw strikes when they absolutely have to keep from walking batters. May get hit but it gives you a chance.

@TexasTuddy @OccupyLF 😂 You may be right! After 35 years of throwing BP after catching in high school and college my shoulder doesn’t feel great. But I still throw the football with kids on the playground at school…and I definitely feel it afterwards.

@joeywa_44 I don’t normally respond but it was not meant to be a flex. It is simply what I’ve seen in their at bats. Their approach at the plate is not good and it shows in their stats. I’m not saying they don’t contribute at times but zero consistency and clutch hitting.
