How important are Pull-UPS… Ask any Physio or Personal Trainer and they unanimously tout the benefits of the proverbial Pull-Up. If you’re North of 50+, and haven’t done pull-ups since your youth, dont’ worry, as the following no video shows you an excellent path of progression. Personally, I had arthritis in my shoulder (specifically the AC joint), and my orthopedic surgeon suggested (actually insisted) that I needed to build muscle in my shoulder and posterior chain, and needed to incorporate Pull-ups in my workout routine to improve my strength in my shoulders and posterior chain.
