So 1700 plus drink tests (let’s call it 2k for easy maths) and 500 positives / arrest so over 1 in 4 tested had been drink driving?!? And the council think a 20mph limit will help protect walkers or cyclists?!? More testing might help imo.

@VernPitt Really shocking that and calls into question wider team ethics. We went to a lot of trouble with @RibbleCycles to get our bikes certified and checked as it’s a safety issue, not just for our riders but those they’re competing with.

@mralibongo @LakaHQ tbf I understand that, but it's still disappointing. Reducing the base price by 10%, but adding a huge premium on top for racing/travel feels like overall just a price rise for a lot of people.
Would be interested to see the breakdown on where claims come from.
