Matt Fitzpatrick’s winning iron on 18 is an advertisement for proper golf course strategy. He admitted later that it was a pull. So often we see balls land near pins and assume that was the target. These guys aren’t aiming for pins 90% of the time.

Seeing Cam Young’s driver swing right up against everyone else is jarring. The pause is always amazing, but when directly in sequence versus normal swings, the contrast is crazy. Also, love how many different moves there are. Swing your swing!

A lot of the conversation around Rory McIlroy's "unfair advantage", especially from golf media, is completely missing the point... There's no reason there shouldn't be a cap on the amount of times golfers can play Augusta the month prior to The Masters, whether they're past champs or not. This ensures there isn't a blatant competitive disparity. Yes, golfers that qualify for the tournament can access the course the month prior, but everyone can't skip three straight tournaments* & fly private whenever they want to Augusta. *Again, this encourages top golfers to skip tournaments, devaluing those tournaments for broadcast partners, patrons, & sponsors. For example, if the cap is 3-4 practice rounds at Augusta the month prior to the tournament, consider them like timeouts. Use them or lose them. Problem solved. Debate over. Past champions still get their well-deserved perks, but they don't get a blatant unfair advantage.

@Long_Tom1776 @SheaSerrano The numbers in the left column are their score for the tournament so McIlroy was -5 from the first day and was due to tee off at 1:44. Burns is also -5 for the tournament and has finished hole 3. Clark has completed his round by shooting a 68 (-4 for the day) and is -4 total

@SheaSerrano If it’s a time: when the player tees off If the # is <18, it’s what hole they’re on If the # is >18, it’s what they shot that day

question for the golfers: this is my first time watching the masters what does the “1:44” next to mcilroy’s name mean what what about the numbers for other names? (i know what the “-4” or whatever means i’m talking about the 68 and 12 and so on) thanks
