You can’t talk about something this in generalities. It is not an argument to say that people convicted of sex crimes are disproportionately LGBT and that, therefore, some inequity must be occurring. This fails to account for the very obvious possibility that LGBT people are simply “massively” more likely to commit sex crimes. Give me some specific examples of sympathetic figures who ended up on sex offender registries because they were unfairly or improperly “targeted” in some way. Because I suspect the people you’re advocating for are all disgusting pedophiles.
