@chamathsintern They’re making genuine breakthroughs in mathematics which qualifies on the “superintelligence in a few fields” and many of the developers at the labs no longer write their own code, meaning to some extent the models are improving themselves (at least writing the code)

We have artificial super intelligence in a few fields and are on the cusp of auto-recursive self improving models.
