Breaking: The Colts are placing the transition tag on QB Daniel Jones, sources told @AdamSchefter. The transition tag is $37.83M, more than $6M cheaper than the QB franchise tag, but gives Jones the opportunity to sign an offer sheet with another team that Indianapolis would then have the right to match.

"The photograph of Kurt Cobain in tears has been extensively published. Tilton watched Cobain smash his guitar through an amplifier and walk offstage. He followed him backstage. The pent-up emotion 'just had to go somewhere,' says Tilton, and Cobain burst into tears. 'What I really love about it is that it is a very real moment, and he allowed it. Other artists would have said, 'Not now, lan, please!' It is very unusual," adds Tilton, "for anyone from a band to show such vulnerability!" Look at more amazing historical photos: bit.ly/44OpIzi

@Sterno67 @Edward41118Lisa @fasc1nate And exactly what is that? That she supports Trump? Are you so stupid you think that all Trump people think alike? We are not sheep! As a huge Trump supporter I love seeing men who can express their feelings openly. They are not less manly to me.

In 1972, security guard Frank Wills foiled a break-in at the Watergate Hotel after catching five men bugging the Democratic National Committee HQ. They were spying for the White House, a discovery that exposed a massive conspiracy and became the scandal that forced President Nixon to resign. In June 1972, Frank Wills, a 24-year-old security guard, made a discovery that would change American political history. While working a night shift at the Watergate Hotel complex in Washington, D.C., he noticed tape placed over door latches to keep them from locking. After removing it and later finding it replaced, Wills called police, leading to the arrest of five men inside the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee. The break-in initially seemed like a small burglary, but investigations revealed the men were connected to operatives working to support the re-election campaign of Richard Nixon. What followed became known as the Watergate scandal, a massive political cover-up involving illegal surveillance, secret recordings, and abuse of presidential power. The scandal unfolded over two years, fueled by investigative journalism and congressional hearings. In August 1974, facing almost certain impeachment, Nixon became the first U.S. president to resign from office. Despite his crucial role in exposing the scandal, Wills received little financial or public recognition during his lifetime. He continued working modest jobs, and historians later credited his attentiveness and decision to call police as one of the most consequential acts by a private citizen in modern U.S. political history. © History Pictures #archaeohistories
