People say “well, if they cut your property taxes who will take care of the roads?” No one is taking care of the roads now so where is my tax money going?

@tractor8920 @PatrickLawren20 @SethLargo The fact you guys think the whole forest is identified as a high risk area is why its so concerning you guys actually think you have to fight the whole fuckin forest, like yall are not real people

@SethLargo yep but at 1.3 billion acres,that approach for boreal forest in Canada would take Incredible effort-larger than any other forest management program ever attempted in world (and 70% of it is roadless-making access very difficult), more can and should be done, but scale is massive

Lessons I learned in 2026: Explosions in the oil producing region of the planet are bearish oil. You see, the explosion shockwaves help the tankers hit record speeds as they leave the gulf.

I see what "the oil guys" are talking about now, having re-entered the oil producer equities yesterday thinking things would heat up. Since I re-entered just yesterday -Multiple Russian tankers were taken out in Black sea, essentially showing Russian Black oil loadings are finished (1 mm a day exports). Russia cannot protect black sea ships apparently. -Iraq ended tanker loadings due to drone attack at VLCC terminal -The Houthis are making noise that they in fact will shut the red sea -The US put a missile into an Iranian bound tanker showing the blockade is one again real. ALL that pushing WTI up 14 cents. Still not even 80. Truly, I cannot explain this in any way that doesn't sound like a stupid conspiracy theory.

We. Don’t. Need. Data. Centers. Never have. Never will. Literally everything was fine until the tech bros decided to ruin the world and invent data centers in 2022. Now we have no water. No clean air. Canada is burning. Thanks Sam Altman.

@moveablemass @pro_pane1 @chris_retterath That would be great for around towns and important infrastructure, but Canada is far to large to think underbrush across the entire country.

@pro_pane1 @chris_retterath We shouldn’t be extinguishing forest fires at all what we need to do is reduce fuel load Have slash burns, thinning of underbrush and spacing of new forests I worked forest fires as a young g man in the late 90’s What’s happening now is mismanagement at the highest degree

Canadians are becoming that dirty neighbour. Bad forest management, weak fire fighting. International consequences as the smoke blows over the border. At some point the US is going to force us to clean up our act,

@chesir3cat @UraniumSteve I think it’s had a hard time breaking out past 7$ because there’s a large amount of warrants at 7$.

@tractor8920 @UraniumSteve It’s usually a good sign. But mining companies are so often rug jobs. Just curious why the market doubts the company.

So there are like 6 of us on here who post about $mai.to $maiff, and one does it mockingly. If they execute on literally anything in the pipeline in the next couple of years, it is a conservative double. CS and GR are probably two of the simplest projects around. $330m MC? Crazy

I’m so tired of def I could puke. 🤮 I have a def sensor on my @chevrolet pickup that is out. It’s hemorrhaging diesel usage and the part is unavailable or been on back order since May 1. I check with local dealer weekly no change but that Chevy app sends reminder daily it’s out. Get rid of def please

I shoved a piece of crayon up my nose as a kid and had to go to the hospital to get it removed. A nurse tried giving me a coloring book and crayons for being a good boy and my dad said "don't give that retard anymore crayons"

I wanted to write a substack last night, but had no internet, titled "why I never capitulated: oil", but the tl;dr is that oil prices crashed because they front ran a Hormuz tanker normalization that never even got close to happening. Was a depressing 5-6 weeks though.
