@ZubyMusic May I ask what you believe I said is a "sleight of hand"? You said you can't see how this is controversial. For me it is.

People who commit public mass murders should be executed. I don't even know why this is considered 'controversial'. These cases are clear cut. There are no excuses, it's perfectly just, and there is zero probability of executing the wrong person. Just get rid of them.

@mtmalinen If Ukraine agrees to all of the ceasefires, sends its president to negotiations Russia has suggested and even keeps asking for a 30 day ceasefire to negotiate a permanent peace, but Russia basically keeps backing out. What else can they do than fight for their home.

Straight out of the script. Top-level negotiations never occur immediately before there's something to be signed. Arguing for this is just f*cking stupid, and Elina knows this, but she's doing what she has been told to do.
Elina Valtonen@elinavaltonen

Ukraine has been ready for a ceasefire and Zelenskyy willing to sit down and negotiate peace. Putin’s chair has been left empty. To end the war we must increase the pressure on Russia and keep supporting Ukraine. The deported Ukrainian children must be brought back and Russia has to let go of it’s imperialistic goals. My doorstep at the informal meeting of @NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

We await a full and lasting ceasefire, starting from tomorrow, to provide the necessary basis for diplomacy. There is no point in prolonging the killings. And I will be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday. Personally. I hope that this time the Russians will not look for excuses.

@mtmalinen @POTUS I find it interesting for a Finn to be a Russian apologist. When Russia loses and they change their government, the world will be a better place.

Europe stands at the verge of a catastrophe. When @POTUS took power, there were hope that he would A) restore the relationship between two nuclear powers and B) understand the actions leading to the Russo-Ukraine conflict, defusing them. This hope has now (almost) failed. 🧵1/

@Cobratate The present and future almost always feels more negative than the past, human psychology unfortunately. But yes bring back more pubs!

When I was around 13, so 1999, my dad was visiting England and we were down the local pub. It was in Luton and called “The Heron” While having a pint in the pub garden, kids ran from place to place. Brit rock was playing in the background. Men had a whole day out on 20 pounds and could spoil women with a drink. Everyone was laughing. British sunny days weren’t empty and pointless like they are now. Everybody had an objective. Everybody could go down the pub. A few years later, It was closed down to be converted into a Tesco Express. When I told my dad he said “when the pubs are gone, England is finished. Old people will be lonely, young people won’t meet. Everyone will be stuck in front of the TV waiting to die” I thought he was exaggerating and laughed it off. But think of England only 20 years ago compared to the dystopian hell hole it’s become today. The Pub was the corner stone of British society in the best way. Yes. There were alcoholics and yes there was the odd scrap. Better than lonely drug addicts and stabbing like we have today. Everything is worse and dad was right. When I was slightly older, 18/19, I used to spend long summers days at a pub in Chistlehurst Kent when visiting my aunt. Sunny? Pub. It was right next to a lake. We’d feed the ducks. Buying drinks all day long with a pocket full of change. You will never understand how Britain used to feel unless you lived it. How beautiful it used to be. But the pubs are all gone. And Dads gone. Englands gone. It all just breaks my heart.

I don't know if it's just my timeline, but 99% of news and opinions I see coming out of the UK are negative. Just an endless flood of crime, complaints, and pessimism. What are some GOOD things happening in the UK? 🇬🇧

I hope JD Vance watches this video. Yesterday, JD Vance complained that his 3-year-old daughter was scared by a group of protesters shouting “Slava Ukraini.” He even went so far as to call some of them “sh*t.” The hypocrisy in his statement is staggering. His and Trump’s actions are directly leading to Ukrainian children being killed daily by russian missiles and drones. Now, what would you call a person like that?! The girl in the video lost her leg due to a russian attack. Yet she continues to smile, she continues to live. She is a symbol of the unyielding strength of the Ukrainian people who are fighting pure evil.

I’m fully leaving the UK on March 31st. The tax year begins on April 1st, I’ll no longer be a UK tax resident, I’ll get to pay ZERO income tax. And to be frank, the UK has gone to shit. Why should I continue to waste my hard earned money by paying 45% of it to a government that hates white christians? Especially when the UK is crime ridden, immigrant ridden, polluted, now architecturally ugly, depressing in winter, relatively expensive, cold year round, overall depressing, seemingly on the verge of civil war etc? What’s the good deal in England for anyone who has options? What business owners look at England and go “yeah this is where I want to live”. Quite honestly, for me, the defining factor is the migrants.

BREAKING: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer just issued a stern warning to Trump, and even Nigel Farage, typically an opponent of Starmer, agrees! “The mineral deal is not enough on its own. But can I just remind [Trump]; Russia is the aggressor, Zelensky is a war leader whose country has been invaded and we should all be supporting him and not fawning over Putin!”
