300 REPLIES RESULTS:
First off didn’t make it to 300, that was very much too ambitious. I ended yesterday with 555 posts and I believe I am around 740 currently, so we’ll say 200 replies to keep the number nice.

Reply guy definitely grows your account well.
If you want real followers or engagement on your posts —> genuinely engage with other’s (small or mid sized accounts) content in your niche.
If you want impressions —> reply to big accounts/viral posts (niche doesn’t matter), memes/gifs/witty one liners work best.
For starters my account is just about 7 full days old now. My account stats for those 7 days are in the pictures below. I’ve never posted on X before, only lurked so I’m not an expert but I wanted to share my thoughts after spamming replies today. My reply count is still a small sample size, but I believe some of the data is strong enough to form some conclusions (a lot of which has been posted by others before, and my data supports what has been said).
-Genuinely replying to similar accounts (that are SMALL or MID sized) in your niche drives the most engagements to your timeline. I think this is pretty straightforward. My problem was finding accounts that fit this since X search is bad and home page is hit or miss. I dug through the smaller accounts I followed to find more accounts through their following list and engagements on their posts.
-Shoutout @LHWealthTales for showing me the FinX list and how lists work in general. Lists make it much easier to find similar accounts to engage with, they can be hit or miss, but it is much more efficient than scrolling through someone’s following page.
-For solely impressions, replying on big accounts early or viral posts is the best. It can only take one good reply to net you a giant amount of impressions. Most of my impressions from 2/24 came from one gif reply on a viral post. Make a list of some bigger accounts, have notifications on for them, reply to the post with something short and sweet. A gif with a caption works best, a witty one liner is also good. Typing multiple sentences doesn’t perform as well from my reply history/data.
-If you want to find more viral posts, find any basic meme or ragebait type post and start liking them. Your home page will be full of viral posts in no time. Remember niche doesn’t matter for this.
-In my data today, I would say half my replies were to smaller same niche accounts and the other half were big account/viral post spam. I think if I were ever to do this again I would isolate the type of replies for better data.
-The best content, and most engaging, comes from the verified smaller accounts imo. Any big account has others one word reply guying, rage baiting, bot spam, etc… so I don’t bother to engage as much unless I’m very early on the post. Very happy I was able to find many more like minded accounts to engage with and view their content, lots of good stuff out there that don’t get seen.
(ALSO these screenshots won’t include some heavy traffic time on X, since it appears lots of people use X from 4-10 pm PST, so the effects are most likely even greater)
