@RCouhig Thank you for a great day Rob and all at #readingfc. I have been a season ticket holder for over 50 years and today it really felt like we have our club back. A proper family club with everyone pulling in the same direction. Can't wait for the new season to start.

In 2024 I've been lucky enough to pick up some amazing #readingfc items, and I'll post a few over the coming days. I love collecting team photos and managed to get this stunning framed pic from 1934 a few months ago.

@cribsie Yes I think you are right. Thats about the time he was playing for us as well. I remember him scoring 4 goals against Tranmere. Looks very much like him in the photo. I see he went on to be club secretary at Man Utd?

@robertmdaws @MickDay99 @ReadingFC Night matches at Elm Park couldn't be beaten. Great atmosphere and always remember getting so excited as I walked down from the turnstiles and in to the Southbank and seeing the floodlit pitch as I looked over fans heads in front of me.

@MickDay99 Remember him well at Reading. Lively winger but Brentford was where he was at his best. Seem to remember he was manager there as well at some point.

John Docherty played for #ReadingFC he came to us from Brentford in 1968 but went back to Griffin Park in 1970.

@james_e1871 May be totally wrong here but the Wagstaff brothers both played for Reading back in the 70's before Barry went on to play for Rotherham and played against us when Tony was still at Reading?
