🚨 MULTI-MILLION-DOLLAR FENTANYL TRAFFICKING OPERATION DISMANTLED IN NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA 🚨 Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the takedown of what authorities describe as a major fentanyl trafficking operation based in Northeast Philadelphia. According to investigators, three individuals were charged this week after law enforcement seized more than five kilograms of fentanyl with an estimated street value of approximately $2 million. Authorities identified the suspects as: ▪️ Johan Manuel Almonte-Ortiz, 26 ▪️ Argedys Noel De La Cruz Jerez, 33 ▪️ Domingo Cedeno-Pimentel, 37 Officials say the defendants are facing felony drug trafficking, conspiracy, and related charges. The investigation involved multiple federal, state, and local agencies, including the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, Philadelphia Police, Pennsylvania State Police, and the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation. According to authorities, search warrants were executed at homes on Wellington Street and Montague Street in Northeast Philadelphia. Investigators say they uncovered a fentanyl packaging operation and seized: 💊 Nearly 100,000 packets of fentanyl allegedly prepared for street sales 💊 Nearly 3 kilograms of bulk fentanyl 💊 More than 100 fentanyl “stamps” used for branding narcotics Officials say nearly seven kilograms of fentanyl were seized throughout the investigation, totaling an estimated 2.5 million potentially lethal doses. I was proud to stand with my law enforcement partners today to share the success of an operation that got millions of dollars of fentanyl off the streets. This work is dangerous, but we have to keep our foot on the gas to make sure our communities are safe.

Breaking: Based on further investigation, the Pennsylvania SPCA's Animal Law Enforcement team located Miracle's littermates. All of the puppies are safe and have been surrendered to the PSPCA. They will undergo forensic evaluations from our veterinary team. From there, if deemed healthy, they will go into foster care until they are old enough to find forever homes. Miracle's continue remains guarded. Our Animal Law Enforcement team continues to investigate.
