Everyone is debating ABO vs CBO & everyone is switching strategies every couple of weeks. Meanwhile, I haven’t switched my strategy in years…. Do you know why? (Hint: I’ve been telling you all for over 4 years)… COST CAPS. If you are using cost controls, running campaigns with inflated budgets means that your ad spend is always allocated in the most efficient way possible. There will never be a situation where Meta has to choose between allocating spend in one place versus another (ABO vs CBO)… Your whole ad account is optimized for budget allocation (providing you go all in on cost controls… which you should). Your dollars will go wherever benefits your brand. Everyone thought I was crazy when I was preaching cost caps all that time ago…. but I guess you’re all starting to realize now…

@jchdotme i mean bid cap yes, but cost cap, it can sometimes overspend, altho it will eventually balance out. my advice would be to do a lower cost cap in this case and gradually increase it

question for the media buyers: let's say you've got a month-old acct, ~3k/day in ABO. you've found a few winning videos at target ROAS. now you want to test about 300 statics. how do you do it? dump em all in a CBO? ABO with small budget for each? tyvm in advance

@Shopify @harleyf Our shopify payments got disabled because of “financial risk” when we have a 0.2% chargeback rate (image attached). Well beneath your acceptable 1%. @ShopifySupport has been absolutely helpless with this matter, as we’ve been going back and forth through every support channel and emails. We’ve sent you guys proof of inventory, proof of incorporation, proof of affiliation, proof of fulfillment, endless other supporting docs and tracking numbers, as well as submitting the appeal twice. And yet this matter has dragged on. We hold merchant trust to the utmost value, hence the 0.2% chargeback rate. @Shopify @harleyf
