@WilloMCI The leadership will be a huge loss but Stone & Ake, aren’t huge losses. If we are being honest, Rodri is not the same since his injury. Maybe he gets better with another yr under his belt but maybe not. Bernardo will be tough to replace but it’s doable. Pep is a different story.

If we lose Rodri, Bernardo Silva, John Stones and Nathan Ake this summer, that would be completely destroy this Manchester City team. You’re talking about four players who aren’t just players, they’re pillars. Take all them out at once and this is no longer a rebuild, but instead... a reset. If we let that many key players walk at once, we’re asking for trouble. It would throw everything off balance. Just when it feels like we’re starting to build something again, we’d be right back at square one, trying to figure ourselves out. Everything we’ve worked on this season, every improvement, every bit of progress... gone. If Pep Guardiola goes as well, that’s an even bigger problem. He’s the one holding everything together, the one who lifts the level when things drop. Without him, you’re not just losing a coach, you’re losing the identity of this team. That’s when things will spiral, when we would start panicking, and his departure on top of the other players would set us back YEARS. This summer has to be handled properly. Carefully. We need to keep Pep, even if it’s just for one more season. Even if you think he should go, he needs to stay. Not when there’s already uncertainty around key players. Letting him go at the same time would be a huge mistake. Losing Pep Guardiola alongside multiple core figures wouldn’t just be a change... it would be a full scale destabilisation. I would also extend Bernardo for another year as well. Not just because it would be one less man leaving, but for what he represents. He’s a leader, a standard setter, someone who drives the mentality on the pitch. He brings energy, he lifts others, and he helps guide both the new players and the experienced ones through the highs and lows. My point is... we cannot lose Rodri, Bernardo, Stones, Ake and Pep all in one window. And that's not even an opinion. It is a fact.
