Don’t think of it like a “narrative”. Ask yourself if privacy is important to you, if Opsec is important to you, if the concept of a “safe” that is accessible anytime, only visible to you, or those you share visibility with (at YOUR discretion) is a concept that makes sense.
If the answer is yes, which, conceptually it is for the overwhelming majority of people (not to mention the fact that is our human right) then the next question is how?
When you get to the how, you’ll already be beyond narrative. Zcash is the most advanced privacy preserving technology, forking 10+ years ago from bitcoin to close the privacy gap that wasn’t feasible for BTC at the time.
But coming back to narrative, people are opening their eyes to the dystopian scenario of privacy being eliminated. There’s a reason that privacy focused projects like signal, and @brave (which is now over 100M users) are growing as fast as they are.
Highly recommend you dive down the rabbit hole. If nothing else, you’ll be hard pressed to find more interesting and/or impressive security engineering.

I have to be honest....
After all the positive news this week with the Clarity Act mark up being approved, Strive announcing that $SATA is paying daily dividends, $STRC producing enough volume to buy at least 10,000 BTC PLUS $MSTR settling $1.5B of their convertible debt, I expected to see a better reaction to Bitcoin than being DOWN 4% in the last 5 days.
It literally makes no sense. Like, how did we reach $126k when there wasn't half the bullish news there is today?
I understand there were mass OG sellers last year.
I understand Jane Street was manipulating the price for months.
I also understand there's a war in Iran.
What I dont understand is how a company like Intel is up 700% since the US government put a few quid into it and SpaceX is preparing to IPO at a higher valuation than the entire Bitcoin network, yet Bitcoin, as a global monetary asset that's having billions of inflows, is still 40% off it's all time high and 10% down YTD?
Even Nvidia, who has a $5.4T market cap, almost 3.5x Bitcoins market cap, has moved 20%+ higher in 2026 despite all the macro-economic challenges.
I don't know what it is - I said last year that someone was manipulating the price & it turned out to be Jane Street.
It still feels off.
It'll come out eventually. I don't know why, but Bitcoin should be FAR higher than it is right now.
It will revert at some point. I'm convinced of it.
Until then, I'll continue to be perplexed by the price action but grateful I'm able to keep stacking at these lower levels. 🧡

Ben, youre a smart guy. If I could say somethings to you it would be this:
1. Tucker Carlson is not the enemy. (ok, Candace has an axe to grind with you. Megan is a lawyer and she'll soup it up to get what she wants. As one, you should know this.)
2. Maybe there is a new wave of conservatism. The old way doesnt work in this age. I welcome revision. People are tired of "not" America First. And those representing us leaving us feeling like a flattened walked-over welcome mat.
3. Christianity is not only Catholicism. It is the worst branch of it, especially politically. (So maybe get a clue with not equating all Christianity with Catholicism.)

UPDATE: I NO LONGER STAND WITH THIS STATEMENT
I know I've been saying the war is over since Trump made the threats to 'wipe out Iran's civilization', and doubled down since as it became obvious Trump wanted to walk away
But things have changed.
The Iranian demands have gone from reasonable, to almost impossible for Trump to accept
If the latest reports from Iran are true, Iran wants to:
- Not concede on their ballistic missile program and proxy network (fair, expected)
- Control the Strait of Hormuz and charge a fee, as well as ban some countries (maximalist, but workable)
- According to Bloomberg: Reparations (This is impossible for Trump to accept)
- Unfreezing of assets and lifting of sanctions BEFORE any negotiations on nuclear program (That's according to Iran's Fars. If true, that would be a deal breaker, as logically the lifting of sanctions was always a concession linked to the nuclear program, similar to the JCPOA)
If the above reports are true, then the likelihood of war is even higher than 50%. However it's impossible to know what Iran's actual stance is, and which "conditions" are throw away terms.
Either way, things are not looking good at all.
