Watched Project Hail Mary (I liked the book). What immediately struck me was how stupid and useless the ship's computer was. LLMs have probably already broken the vast majority of sci-fi worldbuilding done over the last thirty years. Probably explains some of the author ire.

Saturday best day ever in NYC. Long run in Central Park, down WSH. Finish with coffee and pastries at Blue Stone. Walk to Equinox in Chelsea, get in a nice little lift. Start walking towards West Village. See a cute restaurant. Decide to stop for another coffee which turns into brunch. It’s 2pm. Walk home. Rest. Shower and get ready to watch the World Cup. Have friends over to watch game. Perhaps head out after. Perhaps stay up and play cards. Laugh a lot. What a life what a life.
