This is one of my favorite renders so far as it shows the braid really well, I'm currently done with the showcase renders with the black background, I'll finish the environment renders next, should ship within a few days! Rendered in blender cycles

Here's a breakdown for how I textured the wooden handle on my revolver. First time doing something like this, so the format may not be the best. Feel free to ask questions or make suggestions. Not saying this is how it should be done, but it is how I did it.
