✋🎱🇺🇸 In America you should stay outta politics if you know what’s good for ya. Even if you’re right. Especially if you’re right!

🇮🇷🇮🇱🇺🇸 The June 2025 Iran-Israel War left many thinking that Iran's national security apparatus was thoroughly penetrated by Israeli and/or American intelligence. The assassination of Ali Khamenei seemingly confirmed this. And yet, Israel and the U.S. appear to have not known about Iran's pre-approved war plan, which reportedly called for a deliberate horizontal and vertical escalation of a new war to the Persian Gulf and, through that action, the taking of the world economy hostage. How and why is that? Did the United States and Israel not know of these plans? Did they think that their intelligence on such Iranian war plans amounted to Iran bluffing? Iran's counterintelligence capabilities do not appear to have been omnipotent on 28 February, or else Ali Khamenei and many senior military officers would presumably still be alive. Did Iran successfully compartmentalize this information such that it did not become known to Israel and the United States (if so, Iran forwent possible deterrent value in exchange for a higher probability of operational success if/when said plans were executed)? These are some of the great many uncertainties about this war that appear to be largely overlooked in what passes for serious discussion and debate. To be determined.

The Israeli army bombing the ancient seaside city of Tyre as part of their ‘pathway to peace’

@shaunrein Do you understand that the U.S. military did 9/11 in its entirety, from remote-flying aircraft into buildings, to controlled demolition of buildings, to framing Arab patsies, all to create a casus belli for a series of imperialist wars? Trying to gauge your overall acumen here.

This is objectively extraordinary: x.com/clashreport/st… Jake Sullivan, one of the most senior former U.S. officials, says that the U.S. is in a war aimed solely at destroying Iran, one of humanity's oldest civilizations, against the U.S.'s own interests, at the behest of Israel, a 76-year-old state. Listen to the video: he says that Israel's objective in the war "is just break Iran -cause chaos," basically destroy the country, "because as far as they’re concerned, a broken Iran is less of a threat to Israel." Which he says is not in the US's interests "because a broken Iran means a broken global economy, as they continue to threaten the Straits of Hormuz. It means a potential refugee flow, like we saw after the war in Syria into Europe." He also says the Trump administration cannot answer what their own objective is in the war "because they don't know why they're there in the first place," implying that they're there mainly at the behest of Israel (otherwise they'd be able to articulate at least one reason). The curse of the "former official" strikes again... This is the same Jake Sullivan who, as National Security Advisor, oversaw the unconditional U.S. support for Israel's destruction of Gaza. Apparently breaking a people at the behest of Israel is only bad when a different administration does it...

Virginity should not be the #1 factor Christians look for when considering who to marry. Godliness and being attracted to them is. Virginity matters, and it's a blessing from God. It's not wrong to desire someone who is a virgin. And past sexual sin regularly carries present-day consequences. But I fear we've placed virginity on such a high pedestal that it's become an idol for many. The Bible doesn't say that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only if they're a virgin." It says that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only in the Lord (aka, only if they're a Christian)" (1 Cor. 7:39). In other words, what matters above all else is that your spouse is a believer, virgin or not. Again, while desiring to marry a virgin isn't a bad thing, it becomes a bad thing if it causes you to miss out on marrying the person who truly matters: the man or woman who's born-again, passionate about Jesus, excellent in the God-given characteristics of a godly wife or husband, and physically attractive to you. And a mature Christian should desire those things in a potential spouse above all else, regardless of the past sins the person may have gone through (though they should certainly weigh out that aspect as well in this decision, since it does matter).
