A reminder that it is the literal job of @PierrePoilievre to oppose the Government. To critique it. To question it. To compel it to answer questions. To find unexplored angles on issues that the Government must speak to. That is not an overly partisan act, that is our model of Government. You may dislike the way he carries out this duty, which he was elected by millions of Canadians to do, but you’re wrong to expect he should be celebrating any kind of soft-hearted or small wins of this Government of any kind. That is the partisan in YOU talking. That is not the role of the Official Opposition.

Trump ripped up NAFTA, replaced it with USMCA, then ripped that up too. The lesson is that markets have little reason to trust this president's signature. So Canada shouldn't accept pain today in exchange for promises about tomorrow. It should judge any deal by whether it serves Canada's interests now. newsletter.platypuseconomics.com/p/should-canad…

Today, McConnell’s staff told press that he continues to “work” while in hospital, saying: “The Senator continues to meet with staff regarding Senate and Kentucky business, including discussions on defense appropriations, foreign policy, the farm bill, constituent services and constituent federal...” -No new photo or videos. -No phone call, video or meetings with @AndyBeshearKY -No contact with Senate Dems -And @Cheering4Change who has constantly been covering the hospital hasn’t seen any other members of Congress visit -His doctors won’t let him leave 5 weeks after a “minor fall with no complications” But they expect us to believe he is working on Senate policy…? He can manage in-depth work on appropriations but not basic updates to his constituents, his governor, or his colleagues? It’s getting pretty clear we’re in elder abuse territory, where they are making statements on behalf of a man who is no longer capable, so they can cash Congressional staff checks.

Hi Sayid, Please direct us to where in this Order In Council it says that preventative health services are being expanded. What I see is an amendment to the Alberta Health Care Insurance Act that states “preventative health testing services are not insured health services” 🤷🏻♀️

NEW: It's gone from bad, to worse, to perilous at the DNC. Money problems, paranoia, phone slamming, bad morale, and no way out. “Who is going to give money to a Ken Martin–led DNC?” via @Lauren_V_Egan thebulwark.com/p/its-gone-fro…

I want to thank the Prime Minister and the Minister of Transportation for listening to the people of Toronto. Thank you to everyone who spoke out, shared your voice, and stood up for our community. Your relentless advocacy has made a difference. Now that this expansion is not moving forward, we are calling on the Province to return the City’s land. Together, we can continue working to build a waterfront for future generations, with new parks, housing and more.

Id rather my tax dollars go to Veterans!

Omg 🥲

This really got under their skin.
