It does not matter what @LukaszukAB or Forever Canada may have wanted. It is the determination of the MLA Committee that matters. And I am almost 100% that they will recommend a referendum and along party lines.

At a time when Alberta is seeking major private-sector investment, when we need companies willing to invest in our future, create jobs, and build long-term economic confidence, separatism is kryptonite to investor certainty.
Businesses do not invest billions of dollars into political instability, constitutional chaos, or uncertainty about market access, trade, currency, or national unity.
Failure to unequivocally reject separatism is not leadership, it is gambling with Alberta’s economic future, our reputation, and the confidence that investment depends on.
