@Paritolkks Ambani failed with Jio phone. They may not see potential for invest in Tech in India. Ambani never wants to go Global, their strength is local market, they will focus there. We can't dictate any investor to invest somewhere which is not their strength, this can be done by bigTech

I respect your views, but investors buying Indian brands without taking them international; only to shut them down seems overly patriotic to me. Business is business, and no one would deliberately kill it for the sake of doing so.

@aravind @minimaaIist Lot of Tech companies also do that to kill competition e.g. SAP acquisitions. In India, Coca Cola acquired cola brands, Gold spots and Limca are pretty much killed, Thumps was too strong so survived. Sometimes acquisitions are not for products but for market, supply chain etc.

@minimaaIist They do. The US routinely blocks takeover of its companies. China just blocked a take over of an AI company by Meta who wanted to just take the talent and shut down that company to kill competition. Companies buy companies to kill competition sometimes.
